Paolo and Julie welcomed us warmly and genuinely. Loaned us rain pants for a rainy day walk, made delicious brekkies each day, complete with fresh fruit and Paolo's coffee was the best we had in France. Doggies Gil and Streak lovely too, although not permitted (sensibly I must admit) in the B & B itself.

While touring in France on our motorcycle in 2009 we booked at a B&B in the popular picturesque town of Huelgoat for three nights.
The B&B named 'LES GLYCINES', what a delight !, the rooms were beutifully decorated, furnished and kept spotlessly clean. The room had chairs to relax in, a small TV and video player for films which are kept in the breakfast room for guests to use.
The room where breakfast was served, with a choice of ('Continental or English Breakfast') where guests were welcome to prepare their own food at other times if they wished. All the facilities were available, cutlery, crockery, microwave, fridge, freezer and kettle for hot beverages. Evening meals are availably if required. The evening meals we had during our stay were excellent and well worth the cost.
Due to the places to visit in the area and the wonderful hosts our three nights stay turned into eleven. We wrote in the guest book when leaving "We will return" and we will!.

Les Glycines is a lovely town house situated in a quiet street, just off the main square. Paolo and Julie make you feel so very welcome, and they do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.
The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. You can make yourselves tea or coffee anytime that you want in the breakfast room. Paolo buys the bread and croissants from the local patisserie daily they are delicious, and only form part of the breakfast.
There are lovely walks directly from the door, either around the lake or through the forest.
We feel that Les Glycines was a real find, we have stayed there three times already and cannot wait to go back.

What can we say? It was such a delighful place to stay... First of all, the house is so lovely from outside... Then we got the most wonderful (but enjoyably discrete) welcome we could expect... Inside was cosy, clean and made us feel absolutely home... And what about the breakfast? Simply delicious! Thank you so much, Paolo and Lucie.
