“Great value for price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2014

My 3 year old son and I stopped in for an overnight between The Day Out With Thomas in North Conway and a stop at Santa's Village the following day. The check in was seamless. The room was clean and comfortable. Ample parking, fire pit, and swimming pool. My only caveat is there isn't much within a five minute drive for dinner, best bet is to pick up on the way in, or drive 15-20 minutes past the hotel. Great price, and good stop between our two activities. I would certainly stay here again.

We booked this room due to it's very low price for Columbus Day Weekend. Based on the price, we were not expecting much. However, the room was clean, warm and comfortable. The woman who checked us in was friendly and welcoming. There was a fire pit that someone started up and we sat around in the evening. And there was a tire swing. There was even a little refrigerator in the room! Oh, and the view was really beautiful. We would definitely return!

On our way to traverse the presidential range. The lovely couple provided us with an excellent stay, the cabins were perfectly sized, kitchenette with oven! Hot hot water, amazing beds with memory foam! Out of the generosity of their hearts, They even drove us to our trail and picked us up with our car at a different trailhead three days later. Offered to let us shower in a cabin, and provided us with post hike beverages. Amazing couple, really looking forward to staying again!

Only stayed two nights on our way through the White Mountains, but wish we had longer to stay.
The cabin we had was exactly what we were looking for, clean and well looked after. The kids were thrilled with the bunk beds, and we were able to use the kitchen to cook a decent meal after living out of the car for a few weeks. The kids loved the tyre swing and toasting marshmallows around the fire in the evening.
The owners are absolutely lovely, and the mountain views are amazing. Would definitely stay again!

Loved the charm. Owner was very kind and apprecited our feedback. We had a sewer smell outside our cabin which she then fixed and another in our party had a cbin with a broken a/c and she was moved to a cabin with a functional a/c. She is a new owner and is recouping the place a little at a time. We stayed Labor Day weekend and for the price compared to other hotels in the area it was well worth the money. It is certainly not the Ritz if that is what you are looking for you have come to the wrong place... The bedding was cleaned everyday; there was a nice new grill; clean pool; clean grounds; not too loud; a nice fire pit with free fire wood; kitceinette with pots, pans, silverware, cups, fridge, wine opener...and pets were allowed at no extra charge. I will be going back again and will probably bring a bigger crowd next time!

Room Tip: The farther away from the main office the less wifi reception you get. The standalone cabins are all...

The generally positive reviews here leave me bewildered. Our cottage was dirty, someone's moldy food was in the refrigerator, Route 2 roared into the night. The new owners have put a lick of paint on everything, but they don't seem to have done much else. It will take a lot of money as well as effort to renovate a place like this. Are they up to it?

The cottages and the building have a bohemien aspect, and an amazing view on the white mountains. The cottages are nice, clean and spacious. the owner is very gentle and helpful.
The perfect place for those willing to explore the white mountains area in a wild and quiet environment.
