Beautifully decorated, quiet, large room with wonderful jacuzzi bathroom, great base for Sienna and Florence if you have a car. We shared stories with other travellers over a leisurely breakfast before exploring the stunning surrounding countryside. Only down sides - no parking but it is available nearby and no facilities to make hot drinks.

My husband and I have stayed for three days at Palazzo Malaspina between Christmas and New Year's and we loved it. Our room was very spacious, elegantly furnished, perfectly heated and had a balcony with a great view of the Chianti hills. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, plenty of clean towels available. The staff is great: the owner, sig.ra Maria, treated us every morning with a delicious breakfast which included home-made cakes, pastries, and jams, Tuscan prosciutto and pecorino cheese served with home-made chutneys, plus any beverage you would request. Breakfast was also a nice occasion to chat with the owner's family: each one of them, together with Ms. Maria, gave us excellent recommendations on places to visit, itineraries and restaurants. We also received a bottle of Chianti as a gift. Strongly recommended.

My family stayed at Palazzo Malaspina for 3 days. Maria and Mary were just delightful. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Maria suggested sites for us to see and we were not disappointed. The village was a wonderful and delightful bonus. New Years Eve fireworks outside our window. The pizza place next to the B&B was the most delightful pizza I have ever tasted. The only downside to the stay here was the Internet access was spotty at best and nonexistent most of the time. We would stay again in a second. Highly recommend.

Very nice place. Old palace in the centre of small "borgo" conveniently located between Siena and Florence. Spatious, comfortable rooms, modern bathrooms, great view on the Tuscan hills and an extraordinary home-made breakfast. Not to miss. Nicola&Carrie
