We took a very last minute break and stayed in the walled garden cottage Camellia for 4nights self catering.
The setting is very rural in the grounds of Netley Park House a beautiful Georgian Mansion.
The cottages are built within the walls of the old garden and are beautifully bulit in a Georgian style.
The accommodation and facilities are first class making it a great base for the visiting Shropshire and Herefordshire.
The furnishings and decor are comfortable and bright, with the fully equipped kitchen we prepared and cooked a full meal every night.
My only negative comments would be that the shrubberies and weeds growing outside the cottages need to be tidied up on a regular basis.
For a keen angler the main lake next to the house is a challenge.
The main fishery was a huge disappointment, every lake was overgrown and full of weeds with no sign of any fish!
The cottage guide gives a detailed description of what fish are in each lake, this is dated 2006 and alas it is well out of date for in my opinion it has been abandoned to the elements, the fish gone.
Therefore if you are an avid angler you will be disappointed with the facilities, this is not the venue for an angling holiday.
