Especially on a sunny day in May and June, when the snow in melting in the Karwendel-Range, you walk from springtime in the Inn-Valley (Stans) through a thundering gorge almost back to winter, and finally you will reach the Churge St. Georgenberg, high on top of a rock, hidden in the inner part of the gorge.
From St. Georgenberg its nice to walk back to Stans via the medieval castle Tratzberg, which is absolutely worth to see, then walk down into the Inn-Valley and ca. 2 km back to Stans. With Tratzberg you will need around 6 wonderful hours for this walk, without 4 hours.
