I stayed here because my chosen property, the Tentaire, was full.
It is an interesting place; certainly a resort that dates from the 1960s in a state of partial renovation; the chalets are all decorated in the primary colours so beloved of the 60s, and the pool, extravagant, rather pleasant and spacious, needs attention. The rooms are very good; clean, the linen of a superior quality and the amenities (other than some weapons-grade soap) are just fine. As a value for money property, it is a perfect place to hang one's head
The location is difficult, and their signs cunningly discreet. It is a property that requires a car or many taxis to get in and out of St. Laurent.
All in all, a suitable substitute; considerably superior rooms to the Tentaire, but if one is seeking location, it is difficult. I do not want to appear sour, the 3 Lacs is lovely, and once their renovation program is complete, I am sure that it will be a destination in itself.
Now; a comfortable time-warp property!
