I stayed Friday night to Sunday morning at the end of April 2011. The staff were all excellent and room was very nice. Because we were travelling with a German Shepherd dog we stayed in what was called a chalet but looked to me like part of the original stables of this coaching inn. It was a stone building surrounding the courtyard of the hotel with 2 individual rooms accessed off a main door out into the courtyard. We ate our main meals on Friday and Saturday at the hotel and each time the staff were more than happy to accomodate us eating in the courtyard to be with the dog. They actually brought the meals out to the tables in the courtyard and knocked the door of the room to let us know. Both the main meals and the breakfasts were delicious. The surrounding area is beautiful with walks through the country side, there is a great craft fair permenantly in the town's old church hall and all the villagers we met were very friendly.
