We have just returned from La Digue and had booked the Tournesol. Were a little concerned after reading the last two reviews but decided to give it a try. We were really pleased with the location, just 10 mins walk away from the quay and a pleasant walk to the beaches and yet pleasantly secluded in quite a spacious garden. Much better maintained than we expected but admit it may have not been to everyones taste as it was quite rustic with chickens running around and we hung our washing out with the owner but to us it just added to the charm. The bungalow was a little "tired" but very clean and we think good value for the money paid. We had a small fridge, fan and air conditioning but if you like lots of coffee or tea then take a travel kettle as we didnt have one in the room. We did have a few ants but as soon as we mentioned this the owners rectified the problem. If you have a problem I am sure the owner would do her best to help as she was a really nice person and very approachable The breakfast was as good as other places we had stayed and we were always asked if we required more. We had taken the evening meal and found it delicious and plentiful. I hope this may help if anyone else has booked but a little unsure what to expect.
