“Clean, good value and central location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We stayed here as a family for 3 nights in a two bedroom villa. The villa was clean, if a little dated in appearance but had pretty much everything we needed. Also 1 week's free wifi was provided which was handy. Facilities for children were very good, 3 pools BBQ's tennis court and large jumping pillow. Easy walk to shops restaurants, park and beach. A good place to stay and explore Noosa and surrounding areas.

This is our fourth time at Ivory Palms, each time in a 3bd townhouse. Our family love coming to this resort, always plenty to do and close enough to everything needed.
Only issue was the cleanliness of our current apartment which, while off putting, was cleaned by staff when notified. All in all we will continue to be back

We booked here based on the recommendation of "holidays with kids" as we as parents were a little in need of a tiny bit of "real holiday". When booking we were advised that there is a minimum requirement of 6 kids to run the kids club, I put both mine down and confident that over a Easter (peak) weekend there will be plenty of other kids. When checking in we were advised that apparently no one else had expressed an interest. Really? Despite the resort being fully booked?
Quickly noticed it is heaving with kids and families here but not one kids activity in sight apart from a 2hr free tennis coaching lesson on a Thursday. As we were here over the Easter long weekend we won't be able to take that up. No face painting, no organised games ... The best you'll have for the kids is the possibility of colouring in at the PK cafe.
The facilities (pool, playground, jumping pillow) are great and kid friendly for sure but I did expect more for kids than that! Even camping grounds in my experience had more lined up for kids over previous Easter breaks.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom pool house - had everything we needed but I'm glad it's not peak summer time as there is no aircon up stairs. The house was clean overall but when I looked behind the TV the amount of dust is an indicator of no clean for some time ... Couldn't be bothered to report it to reception as its minor in the grand scheme of things, overall the rest was clean.

Great stay but if you are attracted by the kids club (mentioned everywhere including on their big board outside on Hilton Terrace) don't be fooled! This has influenced my rating even if the rest was fine

We booked a 3 bedroom apartment for 7 days for the bargain basement price of $1200. The apartment itself was tired looking, in need of some minor repairs and some oiling of the fans. But, the beds were clean and the kitchen was adequate - we weren't planning on spending too much time in doors :) The pools were fantastic, and the grounds clean and tidy. The only real disappoint was the air conditioning - it only existed downstairs but didn't help at all in the upstairs bedrooms making for uncomfortable nights for us South of the border folk. All in all, would stay again (if we could have an apartment with cold air in the bedrooms ). Great value for money.

We escaped Melbourne for a long long weekend and again choose the ivory palms for our stay this time with two other families

The resort was a hit with all the families and especially the seven children that swan in every pool, played tennis and ride bikes around for the five days

It was s terrific time for the parents to sit back and relax

We have stayed at the Ivory Palms Resort on two occasions. The first time we had a second floor apartment. We found it to be immaculate, plenty of clean towels, good view of the pool from our balcony, and lots of quiet... we didn't dine there because it was only open for breakfast on a limited, but found plenty of eating houses along the Noosa River, stopping at our favourite the Sirrocco. We had a meal at the bowls club next door and found it cheap and cheerful.
The second time we were booked in for 3 nights, Wed thru Saturday, but unfortunately had to leave on the Thursday morning due to cyclone Marcia hitting further up the coast and our need to be back in Hervey Bay before it hot. We will certainly be going back in the future. This time we had a ground floor apartment with internal garage, which was a blessing. The room was pleasant and very clean. We had requested a ground floor room. We have found the reception staff to be cheerful and helpful, thankiyou Anita.. see you again soon.
