“bloody awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

this hotel is definitely not a place for english people!!!! pool was lovely and rooms were clean apart from the terribly stained bath!!! thank god we were there for only a week, the 'all inclusive' was no snacks, and half measures in the smallest glasses they could find. food was ok, something for most people, but no air conditioning in restaurant made it almost impossible to eat in there. apart from the bar staff, ali, joseph and a lovely young lady whose name i forget, all staff were bloody rude to us english. this is the place for turkish, and more importantly, for the russians who, by the way, were the most rude, arrogant and miserable people, anyone would think they werent on holiday!!!!. been to turkey before, ortakent, it was lovely, friendly people everywhere but i would never recommend this holiday to anyone, also just came back last week, and absolutely no entertainment. what did we pay that money for? everyone from england......STEER WELL CLEAR..............

Room Tip: rooms at front of hotel are better as there is an open air club at the back of the hotel that blares...

We have just got back from this hotel on Wednesday and from reading the reviews did not know what to expect. We arrived at 4 am and was greeted by reception and checked in. The room was really clean and very spacious. We did use the safe in the room which was an extra charge but the Wifi is free if you ask the reception for the password. The hotel is a little way from Alanya town about 45 mins on the bus however there is a bus service running all day until 12pm for 2.50 lira which is about 50p which picks you up from where you are if you stick your arm out and takes you to the main bus station in the town which is in the main town centre and very near the harbour, castle and not far from Cleopatra beach which is lovely. There is a small town a little walk from where the hotel is with shops and restraunts. The food is average for an all inclusive lots of salad, pasta, meat, potatoes and pizza. The staff were helpful and polite especially when they realise you are english although they could not speak very good english. The room was cleaned everyday. I would really recommend a turkish bath at the beginning of your holiday for about £20 and the jeep safari. The only down side was the disco next door which started about 11 pm till 3 am. We was particularly close to the disco so this did keep us awake some nights as it is loud However maybe request not to be at this end of the hotel when booking apart from that i would recommend the hotel and the area.

If you are Russian or Turkish, this hotel would be great..
None of the staff we spoke to could speak english - only Turkish or Russian
All the information folders in reception were in Russian, no english
No bus timetable and we were stranded, 14k to the nearest town Alanya, the bus stop was on some old sandy concrete gravel which was still a building site.
The food was terrible for us - all salad with lots of mayonaise type bowls with bits in?! No turkish dishes or any other med / europe dishes.
The most unhappiest man I have ever met was the hotel barman. Local spirits but unrecognisable bottles of vodka which were sometimes very watery.
The red wine was off (Spain keep theirs in the fridge for a reason!)
Wifi is advertised but u can only get it if stood in reception (useful for google translate).
Complained to On the Beach before going after we had read reviews - they wouldnt change us unless we paid DOUBLE the original price?! Complained to Abta.
No tunnel to the beach - so u need to cross over a dual carriageway with a hole in the fence!
No entertainment (they said it was next door).
Next door had the LOUDEST disco ive ever heard until 3am! Locals said its full of single Turkish and Russian prostitutes?
The room was immaculate and lovely - the chambermaid came every day and we really loved her..

Room Tip: Ask for the left side of hotel (left if ur facing the sea), as the disco is very very loud. Also we...

Just returned from this hotel and was glad I only went for a week. Would not give this hotel a star rating as it is miles from the airport and would not class it as a all inclusive as the only spirits were gin, vodka or raki. Food ok but no variety unless you are a rabbit and two nights the food was bad. Went into town every day as could not sit by the pool as the music was so loud in Russian and felt like you were at an acid house party. The room did not get made till 5 to 6pm so it did not get done at least twice as I wanted a lie down. The mini bar in the room was stocked but looked like the drinks had been in it for months plus it was extra. The beach was shingle which I knew but was covered in litter and would not use the tunnel to get to it as it smelt like it was used as a toilet and was also part of the outside disco so what went on late at night was left to the imagination. The entertainment was crap and the only good thing was the weather so would not stay here again

It's like being dropped in the centre of Beirut !! The entertainment is in Russian ! The staff are unfriendly! There are signs everywhere to say only take the food you need and only one drink, strange as I paid all inclusive! You are miles from anywhere! There were no water slides or mini disco! At one point they ran out of white wine! There were people desperate to be move hotel and did. There was an issue with transfers and their reliability!! Stressed me no end! I had to pay ten lira for snooker for an hour which rinsed my money. I felt unsafe and vulnerable !! On the beach were really lovely and helpful to book with however they really should not contract with this hotel! If this had been my summer holiday I would have cried! The food was vile also! It is just for Russian people really who in fairness seemed to enjoy it! Choose another Turkey location this area is too remote!

Have no idea what the stars are for? Its an old hotel which hasn't been maintained well. too expensive for the quality and service. The rooms and the color is not pleasant. The staff were ok. In general its very average. The only thing in the minibar were two empty water bottles ! And it was full of Russian tourists. The internet service wasn't good either. The only good thing was the breakfast. Which wasn't worth 80$! In general not a place to waste a cent on!

Everything is extra, even the towels and wifi.
Staff are miserable
No kids club as promised
No slides as promised, the pool was empty and being regrouted!
First room reeked of smoke, second room had broken double glazed door, as did the third, which was unhelpful due to the main road right in front of the hotel.
Safe was extra to se, even though it was disconnected from the electrics so would not work
No mini disco, despite a sign in the lifts......DO NOT GO HERE, I JUST WASTED £2,000 for 3 people
Oh, and it took us 5 1/2 hours to get there from Antalya airport, to be dropped off at the wrong hotel at 2:30am with a 7 year old, and the out of hours phone number not being answered.
