Dimitra gave us a really warm welcome when we arrived, and was super-friendly throughout our stay. The room was clean, bright, and surprisingly spacious for the price. It was decorated with paintings and Dimitra's own hand-made crafts, which were very well done and gave a nice personal touch. There was also a large bathroom and a kitchen with fridge, sink, utensils and basic cooking facilities, and there was a swimming pool at the back of the hotel (it looked great, but we didn't use it). The location is great - it's slightly out of Kalyves town centre, which makes it nice and quiet, but it's an easy 5-minute walk to the town centre and the beach. There's also a bus-stop right outside for buses to Chania. Highly recommended - would definitely stay there again.
