“Mixed feelings on this one”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

So for the package price, it's not bad but simple changes could make this place so much better. The beds are AWFUL so uncomfortable and the fact there is wifi but at a cost of £2.50 for 30minutes is a rip off. All the local restaurants offer the wifi for free anyway so that issue was resolved but it's still annoying.
The food is ok but really boring after being there more than 3 days so we ate dinner out most of the time.
The hotel is clean and staff are very friendly. The all inclusive drinks is also a good deal if you drink ( me not much so but could see it was a good deal)
The hotel is a great location just 5 minute walk to a stunning beach with spectacular views.
I am already planning my return to this area but wouldn't go back to this hotel unfortunately.
It's definitely worth the money and if I had young children it would be good value but for a friends trip is was not really the best option.

We visited Clube Humbria in November 2012.
First of all it was a great value. The place itself is really nice and clean.
The location it was just perfect for us. Only few minutes away from the great wee beach.
Food was good, no reason to complaint.
Staff was really good and friendly.
Our room was big and specious.
Enjoyed our stay and next when we visit Albufeira we know we gonna go back to the same spot and the same hotel.

We recently returned from a week at this resort and found it to be as most of advised below. The rooms are very spacious, and we stayed in Room 235 with a lovely view out to the sea. The hotel is very clean and the staff are quite nice, but not overly friendly.
The pool area is OK, but like another reviewer - we went in Late October and the water was absolutely freezing.
The drinks were as we expected, as this isn't an expensive place. But you noticed the difference if you went out and had any kind of drink off-site.
Now the food - we ended up spending more time eating off the resort than on. Two reasons: One the food is not very good - its OK, but looked either greasy or was a rehash of previous dishes. Secondly, there are a number of good restaurants around (Tavertino's especially). Like previous reviewers, if they fixed the food this place would be a lot better.
The entertainment is non-existent. For two nights it was the Spanish/Portuguese OAP convention. And for others there was just nothing on (literally). However, we did meet some great people so entertained ourselves.
The local beach was great, and the kids had a ball. Thoroughly recommend going there instead of the pool.
So, like others... This gets a C+ with a "Room for improvement" rating.

Room Tip: Room 235 faces away from the resort but looks out to the see. Tavertino's is a great restaurant...

The rooms were very spacious and a lovely view over the pool. All around the hotel was very clean as the maids worked very hard. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was very nice even though the water was freezing. The downside though was the food as it was very repetitive as we ate out a couple of times to get decent meals. The drinks included in the all-inclusive package wasn't very good especially the white wine as it was sparkling. The entertainment was a joke as one night it lasted 30 minutes, two other nights there wasn't any and when the Spanish/Portugese came in they changed the entertainment for them for two nights.

As a family of four we staying in late October as our kids being both 10 made friends easily and entertained themselves with the pool table etc as the entertainment was poor when on. The beach nearby is superb as we spend two days there. Lots of friendly British people there where we made friends. If the hotel could make the improvements of the points I and many other people on here have mentioned then this could be a excellent hotel.

The rooms are very good - spacious and comfortable. To be fair the food in the restaurant is very good - always a meat & a fish dish as well as pasta and sauce. Salad bar was nice and usually a nice selection of deserts. However gets a little too much as the week goes on if you eat in there 3 times a day. There are snacks available from the outside bar ( chips, burgers & sandwiches) - these are a little poor but again to be fair were tasty. Drinks were fine and plentiful.
Children's entertainment was a little primitive but all the kids loved it and the entertainment team were really nice. Pool is good and clean. Staff are friendly. We were there in October and it was only half full - wouldn't fancy it in the heart of the season as the facilities must struggle to cope.
Beach is only a few minutes walk and is fantastic and you get some good waves to play in!
All in all a decent find and excellent value for what we paid but don't go expecting Clube Humbria to be a 4* complex as it definitely isn't. If you want a good value 3* all inclusive then would be fine to give it a go - but perhaps avoid The busiest weeks.

Stayed here all inclusive in June on my own with 3 children, ages 13, 6 and 5. on arrival was really happy with the look of the hotel.. Read a few of the reviews before travelling and was a little concerned but I needn't have been. The kids were entertained day and night by the excellent kid's entertainment team which allowed me to relax. Also play area and football pitch for the kids. Our apartment was very spacious, more than enough room for the four of us and was spotlessly clean and situated in an ideal location on the ground floor beside the pools. The staff were friendly and very efficient, especially the restaurant manager who always made us feel welcome and made sure we were happy with everything. The food we had was nice but the choice was limited. The children especially enjoyed the pizza and profiteroles night. The evening entertainment is very family orientated we loved it but might not be to everyone's taste. 10 minute walk to the beach which is beautiful and a shuttle bus or taxi ride into Albufeira if you want to venture further. . Pool is nice and big. a little bit on the cold side for me but this didn't stop the children. Excellent value for money and we can't wait to go back next week (Oct).

On arrival we were quite impressed. Hotel looked lovely, Reception staff were great, spoke great english. Our room was big and spacious, free air con fans etc. basic but perfect for what we needed.

The staff were brilliant very friendly and approachable, great with the kids.

We went all inclusive, 4 adults, 2 kids. Food was terrible, breakfast was ok same stuff every single day though, lunch and dinner were terrible, kids choice was ridiculous, and the vegetarian choice was pasta every single day. (i have a wheat allergy) twice when i went to vegetarian option there was meat in it, once on the pizza and once in the pasta sauce. Every meal that was cooked the meat was still on the bone. we ate in here twice and had to eat out every day from then as the kids were leaving starving every day. The small pool bar served snacks they were tasty and came with chips so were good for the kids at lunch. drinks were all great, good selection. apart from water it had to be paid for which i found strange as anywhere else i have been water is included with all inclusive. no crisps included either. cheap enough from the supermarket around the corner though.

The evening entertainment was great if your kids were between 2 and 5, any older they would be bored, no entertainment for the adults either. but there is a pool table and air hockey available for a euro each.

we spent 2 weeks here and both of the weekends there were bus lots of spanish and portugese arriving, they were very rude and pushed in at the bar, food area, took over your sunloungers, took your seats from the bar if you even stood up for one second. you could not get a drink or food when they were here as they were so intimidating. they also had set meal times and they were just a nightmare moving the kids out of the cue and being damn right rude.

It got to the point we spent as little time as possible in the hotel and went down the beach, into villamoura, into albufeira just to get some peace.

around the hotel is very quiet, this was first 2 weeks in oct, albufeira which is around 6 euro in a taxi was very lively lots for the kids to do, villamoura around 16 euro in a taxi is fab, worth a visit. Slide and splash aqua park is also worth a visit.

The best meal we had was from fratellis it was amazing, also had fab meals at loccorni the indians, the chinese above the oasis bar and the english bar down by the beach on the left hand side the food here was great.
