I was in this Hotel Aydinbey Resort from 03.06.2014 – 10.06.2014. It is simply hard to start what aspect was worse than other.
I will try briefly to describe for you every aspect of this hotel. We arrived in the hotel at 12h but no room was available in that time, so we had to wait 2h to give us a room. First, they gave us a room in the top floor, the temperature outside was 26 and inside 28-29C, so it was almost impossible to sleep without AC, and to turn it on with small kids was not a good idea. But anyway we got another room next day in a lower floor.
Location and space arrangement of the hotel: The hotel is located into a remote area and practically every single travel to the closest town will not cost you less than 20 euro in one direction. Hotel is placed into a confined space with practically no or very limited green areas to relax, except walking passages with 1-2 meters alongside walking passages, and a confined space close to the beach which usually useless since almost the time is under irrigation.
Comfort and facilities: The comfort the hotel is very limited, and lobby of hotel close to reception is small while another part of the lobby is based in a dark area of ground floor, very depressing atmosphere where you cannot relax. The inside swimming pool is very small (about 80m2) and access to this pool is with stairs into some narrow doors and air humidity is so high that is impossible to stay more than 20 min. The “fitness” center is based also in this area and most of equipment are corroded and non-functional. Shopping area inside hotel so poorly supplied that you cannot find anything interesting, and even if you find that will be 10 times more expensive than normal prices. Hotel does not have any other sport facility tennis, football field or similar. Expect you can play for few hours’ table tennis, or you play cards, play chess, or volleyball in the beach. Be carefully, the hotel in the swimming pool area has very sliding ceramic tiles so you can easily slide and get injured.
Swimming pool and outdoor restaurant: The hotel has only one small swimming pool and it is overpopulated and you can swim normally. There are also only 3 water slides which you can use only 4 hours a day (10-12 and 14-16). Outdoor restaurant has very limited seats and cannot accommodate even 30% of whole guests.
Beach: Is very small and has limited space of beds which are placed close to each other, and it is not in deed place where you can relax. Beach is with sand but closed to the water there is not sand except some stones.
Food, main restaurant, and snack bars: There was a multi choice option of bulk food amount but with no taste indeed, in the main restaurant there was a lot of food smell which made eating really uncomfortable. Snack bars usually opened just 15 min before the lunch time, so in fact you were unable to use it, and if you were interested to take food from snack bar for example at 15h you had to wait at least 15-20 min into a long que. Ice cream was available 14:30 – 15:30 but you could get if you wait 15 -20min. Free drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic were available of local low quality of low cost drinks.
Animation and staff: Animation staff was Ok, and staff in general too with some exceptions.
I want to summarize and underline that I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. In general I want to warn all possible guests to this hotel, DO NOT waste your time and money to visit this hotel.
