“Excellent beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

I can really recommend Playa de Gandia. Excellent sandy beach with safety guards, cleaning team, toilets, bars and all facilities around there! 3 kilometers long... :)

“Fantastic fine sand beach with many facilities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013 via mobile

The Spanish have a knack of making their beaches so attractive. The first thing they do is build a beautiful promenade, usually with flower beds, palm trees, loads of benches and shelters for a little protection from the sun. Playa Gandia has gone one better and actually built an underground car park partially underneath the beach. The main beach has walkways, wheelchair facilities, showers, drink kiosks, sunbed hire and first aid. There are lifeguards at regular intervals who incessantly patrol the waters edge. The sands are cleaned every night and are always spotless. Behind the promenade are hundreds of restaurants and bars, there has to be because July and August the area is taken over by Los Madrilenes in their thousands. Strolling along the prom will bring you to the marina and thence the port. This is the area for fish restaurants. If you are going to stay here try the Bayren hotel, really good value. If you are not constrained by kids holidays, come after September 5th. It's like someone's turns off the tourist tap, the weather is glorious and you will have the place to yourself. If you like this beach, try Valencia beach. You will certainly be impressed. I always find it difficult to understand why the English seaside resorts cannot replicate the facilities that are the norm in Spain. Try finding a shower on an English beach. Enjoy.

At Gandia's beach you can find a wonderful place with km of sand to relax and have a sunbath almost any time of the year. Also you can enjoy with the fantastic offer of restaurant and places for party.

“Fantastic Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

Personally I think that Gandia Beach is the best I have seen on the Costa Blanca. It takes a lot of beating. Its white sands are so inviting Winter or Summer. It is kept so clean and always looks so inviting. Many people enjoy day after day all the activities on and off this beach. Definitely worth a visit.

“Worth the While”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

I went on holiday to Spain in July-August 2012. This beach was excellent, went there late one evening, went back to have a look around two days after, the beach was so clean and the sand was so cooling on my feet. When we went back in the day, the sea was actually colder than two evenings before, and it was a shame the sea was so strong because the lifeguard ruined my fun!! But after all, he was just keeping us safe. There are loads of things to do, like shopping and eating out, but my favourite part was eating ice cream!! There were also these bike type things, but they weren't bikes, they were sort of like carts, but they weren't carts either!! It's hard to explain, people!! There's an American Pizza place, and the pizza was absolutely gorgeous. Just go there, it's really woth the money, and your time!! There is a super market, and loads of things to do, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! :P
