“Nice and relatively calm beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

We enjoyed a nice mix of sandy beach in the middle and interesting for snorkeling rocky formations by the sides - gives all the members of your family something to do. :) And the place is not too crowded in comparison to some other beaches on Rhodes.

“SANDY BEACH”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

Lovely sandy beach with sunbeds and umbrellas and three beach tavernas. Worth the walk from the main road. No public transport to get there.

“Best beach on Rhodes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

This is a beautiful beach in an alcove and in my view the best beach on Rhodes, but you need a car or moped, bike, to get to it. The sea is crystal clear and warm and it is safe for children of all ages. There is a huge sign saying Haraki as you come over the hill from Kolymbia way saying Haraki and beach, but when you turn left, (there is no sign from the right) after 200m or so you have to take a small road to the left again, and follow the road down. There is a small sign, but you can miss the turning if you are not looking to the left as you drive down the main Haraki road. There are 3 or 4 beach cafes selling the best gyros and other food and drinks and the beach sunbeds are actually free. Don't miss it.

“Perfect balance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

This beach (among the tens on the east coast of Rhodes) is a perfect balance in terms of size and facilities: not too big and commercial (such as Tsabika) but not too small and secluded. It's fine golden sand is a highlight, along with its clear waters. Mind the boulders in the water on it's first half (first means closest to the access road) or get your snorkeling goggles. A few beach taverns offer all drinks and snaks. Not at last, the prices were among the reasonable ones.

“Very disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

A more beautiful situation is hard to find. The water is crystal clear and mostly sandy underfoot. This is however overshadowed by the condition of the beach and the toilets. No visible cleaning or tidying up of debris is evident unlike Tzsambika beach where the sand is raked and debris is not in evidence. The toilets were frankly disgusting with no soap, toilet paper and the floor was soaking wet, dirty and foul smelling. The owners of the sun loungers since the forming of a co-operative have now no competition and apart from relieving you of your money appear to spend all their time in the kantinas and walking up and down the beach with their clipboards. Please get your act together, this is a beautiful spot and should be a beautiful beach. Take some pride.
