“jameos Del Aqua”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

We hired a car and travelled from Costa Teguise. Roads were good and signs easy to understand. The attraction can get a bit busy so go early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the coach trips. Plenty of parking available. If you intend to visit several of the attractions on Lanzarote you can buy one ticket "boche" at 26E per adult and this will get you into 4 attractions. You can easily spwnd a couple of hours here and those with school aged children will find the Volcanic information and presentations interesting. There are 3 cafes within the attraction and a lot of steps.

“Evening tranquility and wonder”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

We booked dinner in the evening (only possible on Tue and Sat), arrived at 7 and had the entire caverns and pools virtually to ourselves. They are magical when deserted and as the sun sets, truly amazing. After dinner we went around again, 100% alone, and were the last to leave. I cannot imagine what it is like with coach parties during the day, but at night an unmissable experience. The food was pretty good as well, including the octopus stuffed with prawns. Great!

“A lava tunnel par excellence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

This is a trip through part of the worlds longest lava tunnel. It takes you down into a lagoon that's below sea level, filled with unique albino crabs, and other wildlife. There are coach parties strolling through, but all with hushed reverence at the splendour of the place. You continue to an oasis, complete with palm tree, pool, flowing water, etc. There is a museum on how it was all created, what's happening next, etc. There's a cafe, souvenir shop, and lots of time to explore.
Free car parking and 8 euros per adult entry, it's a bargain or tranquility and wonder.

“very peacefull”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

This is worth a visit, if you get a chance to go by car then do it. The coach tour is good but I feel it's better explored on your own at your pace.

“excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

This is part of the same place if you get the chance also nip over the road to the green caves, the only down side is it's not suitable for disabled or unfit people because of all the steps 158 to be exact. A brilliant place to go though.
