If you are going to stay here I would recommend you don't get the tent... Pay a couple of more euro and get the bungelow. The bar and the pool were great to hang around, and with the beach across the road with fantastic watersports. Everyone is really nice and its a fantastic atmosphere. There are a lot of aussies and kiwis that stay there. There is a bus that is quite regular that goes into town that leave from out the front!

We stayed in the bed tents (after eventually sorting out a mistake made with our booking). These are essentially little huts, with a two little camp beds in, and a filthy mattress on top. No pillows. No linen. Floors were unclean. Door didn't shut properly, and holes in the wall were literally stuck over with plasters.

Assuming bed tent, meant a tent with a bed in - we did not bring any camping type stuff with us - if you do stay here make sure you bring a sleeping bag and pillow.

The camping is a real party place. Which means at night it is very noisy. Also, we found the staff rude and unhelpful. It was like we were doing them a service for being there. The restaurant served school dinner like food, at restaurant prices.

However, it is right opposite the beach, which is amazing, and the far out hotel next door has a lovely chilled bar and pool which they didn't seem to mind us using.

One of the worst and dirtiest places I have stayed in the world!

Amazing - if you are looking for that escape from realitly, fun, laughs, san, dancing and a completely friendly chilled out place - far out if the one for you.

sure the toilet facilities aren't the greatest - but this is buget camping, and I would say staying here is like mixing a festival with a beach/pool party. The staff are lovely, really look after you. I never thought I was a party person until I came here - and the memories are brilliant. You can be sure to find me here next summer... if not before!

The Campground is very nice and a great place to stay for travelers on a budget or anyone really. IT is located on the nicest beach in Ios and is not far from the Centre of the night life. If you are going to stay in Ios this is the plae to be.

Staying time: 21 July - 28 July of 2008.

The whole place and organization was rather good. The major problem this camping has is the clealiness of the toilets (WC) and showers. With all this money they make, they could at least have some cream soap and some extra toilet paper... So if you're staying bring your own.

The other things this place has, are a bar, a pool, a restaurant, a mini-market, an internet cafe and some billiard tables and a ping pong. The prices in the place were rather OK for an island but they can go up anytime. There's even a doctor available once a day, every morning, which requires extra payment.

Best things of this place are the low price and the best beach of the island, which is right in front. The worst things are the mosquitos, the WC and maybe the noise other people make in the night.

The place is plenty for tents, either your own or rental (from there), but if you're going for a weekend, you might need to book some place earlier. There are some bangaloos too, but I think they were all full. There's also an ATM in the entrance if you want to withdraw any money and a telephone if you want to make any calls.

The place isn't very far from the town, so you can go on foot. There are some buses too until midnight, but they're all extra-full.

This place is in an amazing spot right accross from the beach, however the pool area is great but the toilets and showers were filthy, I cant say that the whole time i stayed there the toilets or showers were clean, Was talking to people who were leaving early as it was dirty and the staff dont seem to be very helpful! Drinks were resonably priced as well which was a bonus and having the beach accross the road was definatly an advantage!
