“A great welcome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014

Two peaceful days. The hotel has cottages set away from the reception area down concrete paths. There is an electrically powered vehicle which can take you and your luggage back and forth if you have mobility problems, although the walk is a pleasant one. The food was excellent and the swimming pool a good place to relax in between jeep drives in the Pench national park. Don't expect a wild night life, but it's a wonderful place if you want peace and quiet. There is an experienced masseur in attendance who fixed a persistent back problem. We would definitely recommend this place.

Room Tip: Pick a cottage away from the reception area if you can, close to the lake, if you want extreme peace...

A stately entrance to the hotel leads to even better facilities and cottages. The cottages are spacious, the beds large and the supply of hot water allows full use of the splendid bathroom facilities. The cottages stad in well laid out grounds that are well kept and a pleasure to walk through on your way to the dining area. The excellent selection of mainly tasty Indian dishes will not disappoint even though they may result in an increase in waistline inches. Staff very helpful and attentive and those who suffer food allergies will be catered for.

We spent 2 days here: Christmas Day and boxing day. The cottages are lovely: especially the baths! The staff were so kind to us: getting us an adapter from Nagpur as we had brought the wrong one. They refused to charge us for this too! We couldn't have asked for a better service. Fun Christmas stay. Saw a tiger too!

Comfortable beds in a spacious individual cottage with a lovely outdoor patio are with sofa looking over the lake. A lovely setting to wander around when not out on a game drive. The swimming pool was good to relax and cool off in the mid day warmth. The buffet style food was good and tasty.

A very comfortable lodge / bungalow complex close to the entrance to Pench NP. Complex has a mix of single bungalows and permanent tented accommodation. The bungalows are well appointed and comfortable. The dining room is an open sided affair which serves buffet style food with freshly baked breads. the standard was very good, mainly Indian style vegetable food with the odd meat dish. staff are pleasant and overall the experience was very enjoyable.
Lodge does have a pool and a spa - which wasn't used by anyone that I could see, but it provided different treatments at a cost.
Recommended if travelling to Pench.

Room Tip: Bungalows all alike so no difference which ones you use. Tented accommodation is further from the di...

Conveniently located close to the game reserve, the Tulis is a good place to spend some very personal time in the nature. The cottages were spacious specially the lake facing outdoor sit out is well conceived. Breakfast served was just average and the house keeping needs improvement (could not supply an iron!).
