Went with my parents & two boys. The resort is beautifully maintained.
I loved the landscaped gardens which are exceedingly inviting in the winter sun. Add to that a few ducks that the kids can chase, and you have a recipe for a good holiday!
The highlights for us were the nightly bonfires. It just invites you to sit and chat up about everything under the sun. We lived trading stories with fellow guests there.
A small suggestion for "delight" - have marshmallows, corn on a stick that the kids can toast and eat
The rooms were very comfy, spacious; and the water hot! In winters when the place is freezing, this becomes especially important! There is evidence of lots of effort- games room has games, library has books.
Food was nice, wholesome. Packed lunch needs to be better done. Seemed half hearted.
Service is lovely. The in house naturalists are great!
We didn't see any animals... No luck, I suppose. I'd recommend going to the Tulia gate safari. the other one, while nice didn't leave me impressed. An hour's drive there and then a hour to drive back; spending an hour there didn't seem worth it. That was the only blight for me. Other wise full marks for everything else!!
Keep it up Mahua, we will certainly be back!!
