Description: Restaurante Los Roques offers some of the finest dining in Tenerife. With fresh ingredients sourced from local fishermen and farmers, the food is delightfully seasonal and prepared with the utmost attention to detail. In addition to the regularly changing a la carte options, there is a tasting menu, which gives the diner the opportunity to try a wider range of dishes. Wines include an excellent selection of both local and better known international offerings and there is an extensive cocktail list. With sunset views across the bay, this is a must visit restaurant for food lovers, those in search of a romantic air and anyone looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion.

Great food and excellent wine selection. Ably advised by the maitre d'. Very laid back atmosphere, overlooking the harbour and out towards the ocean.
By a million miles the best place we ate in Tenerife.

“Awesome food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

There is a very good reason why this restaurant is recommended by Michelin because the food, ambience and staff are all exceptional and if you are a true lover of fine food then it really doesn't get much better than this. In fact, I am astounded that they haven't actually been awarded a Michelin star because it's certainly up there with the best Michelin starred restaurants in London and to find such a fine example of an A La Carte restaurant hidden in the middle of a small fishing harbour in Tenerife is a rare find and one you really shouldn't miss!

The establishment is modern and contemporary and sits right on the sea front so you can watch the sun go down in the evening whilst sipping one of the fabulous cocktails! The food is all home made and arrives as a mini work of art and whilst I love this, I do find it quite difficult to bring myself to spoil it by eating it but suddenly all the guilt of destroying the art form pails into insignificance when hit by the stunning flavours and textures. I thought the slow belly pork was the epitome of our holiday until I delved into the Baileys Ice Cream Truffle and then I thought I had just died and gone to heaven!

The staff couldn't have been any more helpful or friendly and kept the balance of being wonderfully attentive whilst not overbearing just right. The thought and attention to detail was perfect not least of all when they put some woolly blankets on the back of peoples chairs so that they could use them if they felt chilly which it did towards the end of the evening - such a wonderful touch! Had we found the place earlier and had not been staying in an all inclusive hotel in the neighbouring village then we would have eaten there every night but we still managed to squeeze in 2 meals and one lunch!

Thank you Silviu and Peter - the whole experience was perfect and we really hope to visit again next year!

“Exquisite Dining Experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

Los Roques was recommended to us by a restauranteur in Los Cristianos--and she knew what she was talking about!
The staff were charming and the food amazing--a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.....so much so that we returned for lunch on our way to the airport.
We had more expensive meals during our holiday, but none came close to Los Roques in terms of quality and service....we'll be back!

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

We were staying locally towards the end of February and sampled most of the restaurants along the port in Los Abrigos and each had their own charm. Los Roques however was outstanding. The food is worthy of any top London restaurant and for the quaity we found it reasonably priced. My only regret is we found it towards the end of our stay as I could have happily eaten there everyday!
