My sister, brother in law and I, booked the Rebecca's village through Olympic holidays back in May, and got a discount on line. What we got for our money was pretty good value. Once you get over the initial 'shcck' (although that's too strong), of the apartments, you find they're pretty clean and comfortable. The biggest bonus is they all have boilers so constant hot water, even if you're the last one in the shower, no relying on solar heating!!. On the positive they're quiet, in a lovely setting and really peaceful. On the negative, they are situated up quite a steep hill, they could do with a freshen up, as the interiors and looking a bit tired and improved plumbing here and there (our taps in the shower had to be replaced twice).
The pool area is really nice, with lots of grass and shady spots to be found. Although i don't understand why they make 3/4s of the pool 'deep end' and about one quarter shallow, still it was always clean and plenty big enough for a couple of lengths.
Though probably the biggest bonus from our point of view was the distance from Sidari (although some might see this as a negative). Sidari itself - vile! dirty beaches, english breakfast after english breakfast being servied, nothing quaint or greek about it at all. Although if watching X factor on a Saturday night is key to enjoying your holiday, then i'd recomend it!
