“Lovely holiday but wasn't allinclusive!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2014

Arrived at Homere Hotel on the 5th of May where we were greeted with a welcome drink. We checked in which was speedy then shown to our room which was a good size, nice and clean. We then went for lunch which was ok...It wasn't till the afternoon that we realised that the only drinks on the all inclusive were beer, wine and soft drinks, neither me or my mum drink wine or beer!!.We lounged by the pool which was very nice, lovely and clean and was regularly checked for cleanliness..The sun loungers were very uncomfortable and we noticed that some of the guests had mattresses, these had to be paid for!..Beach towels are not supplied and you have to pay a fee which was non returnable. Ok,this is a 3* plus hotel so sometimes you dont get beach towels so we had to use our room towels as we didnt have any!...We learnt that we were the first English guests to stay in this hotel so maybe things will change a little for future guests but we all had to complain about the all inclusive drinks and the lack of snacks during the day(not good when you have children!!!)..Our rep was kind enough to arrange a meeting for all of us about this,it appears that Thomas Cook have miss sold this holiday saying it was all inclusive when it clearly was not. We were given the choice to change hotels and had to find our own way by taxi to go see another hotel at extra cost!! The owner of the Hotel was as accommodating as he could be and offered us cocktails(2 for the price of one)..and free mattresses but its principal and i thought this not good enough...
The hotel itself is really nice, the staff are pleasant ..it has a lovely indoor pool and gorgeous flowers all over the place..Entertainment was thin on the ground but the animation team did their best...There is a outside snack bar,a beach snack bar with changing facilities, a good sized stage which i imagine will host the entertainment at a later date but none of these were open...Regardless of all this we had a lovely time but mainly due to the lovely guests we met, mainly English but other nationalities too,who were real lovely...I do hope the management sort these issues ...P'S....Ladies remember to take a hair dryer as this has to be paid for too!!

4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2014

I stayed one week in this hotel from March 16 to March 23 and had really wonderful holidays. The indoor pool is absolutely wonderful, big and the water is nice and warm. My hotel room was clean and very spacious, it also was heated as the mornings and evenings were still quite chilly. It was located behind the swimming pool and very quiet. At this time of the season there were mostly French and German guests and the hotel was not fully booked.
The food was good, lots of vegetables, and excellent choice of cakes. The personal was very friendly and the animation team excellent. I was there alone just to rest and enjoy the sunshine.
I can only recommend this hotel it corresponds exactly to quality/price.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 204, this building is very quiet.
