“nice place BUT”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

its a great location, however the cleaning staff steal, they stole money from us 400USD, and then several 100 baht after that.... we told the manager who told us to set up a trap for the cleaner. the plan was to leave money on the table, after she cleaned we where suppose to check if the money is still there. it was gone, the manager was not on duty when this happened so we approached the owner who told us that its our fault for not being more careful with our money even though they told us to do it. im very disappointed in this place and would not recommend it to anyone..... unless u wanna play Sherlock Holmes!!!
we use to go there a lot, but will never go back!!

Room Tip: don't go there

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

Spent three days here with 2 girlfriends. One of us spent all three days, literally, at the beachfront all day, taking all of her meals and drinks there. We initially booked for two days, and when we saw it we asked to stay a third. The Boss/manager said it was no problem. At no time in the three full days we were there did ANYONE approach any of us about when we needed to pay. Keep in mind, my friend did not leave their beachfront all day.

The manager waited until 7:30 ON THE LAS NIGHT to go to my friend and DEMAND at she pay RIGHT NOW. My friend said she needed to wait for her friends and the manager accosted her, yelling at her to pay for all of us, that he saw she "had money" and made a huge scene in front of all of the other guests.

I and my other friend happened to be coming back from dinner right after it happened. I asked to speak to the manager. I calmly told him that we had been there for three days and no one mentioned when we had to pay, and that we have been very quiet, respectful guests, and that if he had just told us earlier we,would have been happy to pay whenever he wanted, he just started yelling and pointing and screaming again that people sometimes leave without paying and that my friend wouldn't pay. He caused another scene and did not listen to reason. He was very rude, a poor manager, and a poor businessman.

The people who work here are not helpful in any way. There was a big muy Thai match at the stadium. I asked if they knew how much the fight was. The guy says, "sorry, I don't know." I said, can you call and find out? He says "sorry, I don't know the number." Really? There's flyers ALL OVER TOWN and it's the only thing going on and is being broadcast all over samui but there was NO WAY they could help??

The bungalows are nice enough and clean enough, and right on the beach. There is hot water, but the water pressure is non-existent. It is so bad that my friends (both have a lot of hair) didn't even bother to try to wash it. But if you're gonna stay here, make sure you know when to check out and know that you are completely on your own if you need anything.
