People are very nice. Great location. Rooms are stark but clean and large. Wifi is not consistent in the rooms - really need to be in the lobby. The sitting area next to the lobby is nice. It's a no frills hotel. Economical and convenient.

Room Tip: The rooms are large. Just stark.

Skopelos is an island that most tourists do not visit. What a missed opportunity! After staying for years at more basic hotels on the island, we decided to spring for luxury--and luxury we got at the Prince Stafilos. We have stayed there twice, the first time in 2012 and the second in May, 2014.

In the public rooms, the hotel is decorated with antiques and vintage Greek furniture. The guest rooms are comfortable, and the bathrooms are modern. We had hot water all the time, a luxury you don't always find in Greek hotels.

The breakfast buffet came with the room. It was simple, but satisfactory. If you are expecting a bountiful American-style buffet, you may be disappointed. However, if you like fresh fruit, Greek yogurt and honey, breads, American-style coffee, and omelets prepared to order, then you will be happy. My husband, granddaughter, and I certainly were.

The service was impeccable, and the price was extremely reasonable for a two-bedroom suite with a balcony facing the sea.

Room Tip: Choose rooms with a view of the sea, the gardens, and the pool.

The hotel is in a great location but NOT HOT WATER and the rooms on the top floor needs a refurbishment. The breakfast was ok and the people at the reception very nice. The grounds are beatiful and the hotel building very pretty, but I will not recomend to my friends. Probably if you put 2stars instead of 3 and reduce prices ;-)

We booked our family holiday at this hotel (8 nights), charged at €190/night (b.b). We were given a family room that was clean and spacious, the hotel is conveniently located near the harbor and the surroundings are nice. Once we checked in the problems began to emerge...First we discovered that there was no shower curtain, then the air conditioner was not working and the blow dryer was getting too hot to hold...We stated these problems and we got a promise to have everything fixed...3 days after our continuous follow ups we realized that the hotel staff as well as the owners were simply manipulating us...We had a very nasty argument with one of the owners (it is family owned) in the middle of the reception where 2 other guests were also complaining for a toilet that was not working and for hairs they found in their bathroom from previous guests...After that we got a cheap but new hairdryer and we were given the remote control of the second ac in the room that was working just fine (but we were told that it was also broken when we first asked - cheating of the worst kind). Breakfast was below average (cold coffee, hard bread) and on top of everything soil was coming out of our shower (see photo) almost everyday!!!
Bottom line is that this hotel needs serious investment in infrastructure, the owners know it and they try to cover the problems by manipulating guests in the most arrogant way. STAY AWAY from it !!!

Hotel although in an excellent location, was let down by many things. NO HOT WATER, avoid rooms on the top floor, in need of re-furbishment. Breakfast not good at all, bread was stale and hard, eggs like rubber. Grounds are beautiful, hotel building is very pretty. Forever running out of things like, tea bags, onlly issue one at a time, bottled water, chicken etc etc. General staff were very nice, although they were having to deal with so many complaints. Would I recommend it to a friend, definitely not.

Room Tip: Only book ground or 1st floor.

We booked a double room for 2 couples thinking that there is a door separating the rooms but unfortunately it was common!

The hotel is old (70"s?) and stinks mould, the ramp for disabled stops before the stair leading to reception so you have to step and then there in no ramp to go to rooms 100-120

The safes in the rooms have common code ( not possible to change) so as to be known to all!!

The beds and mattresses are old.

The breakfast room is dark and the quality of the offered breakfast poor.

The shower is not working properly and the water supply has no stable temperature.

There are no plans and signs for immediate evacuation

TV sets in the rooms are 14" wide old fashioned.

Wi-fi is not working in the rooms.

Chairs in the garden are old and damaged
