My wife and I stayed in Willow Cottage and enjoyed it so much we changed our plans and doubled our length of stay. Willow Cottage is a beautifully and tastefully renovated old stable. Comfortable bed, first class linen, great view to the colourful garden. Well equipped kitchen no oven but their is a braii. Simon provides two bags of wood for the braii or the fireplace. Well outfitted bathroom with a shower for two. Views into the garden from all rooms. Parking for the car within the fenced garden. Simon, the owner is an excellent host.
McGregor is a great place to spend a few days, excellent restaurants, good hikes close by, wineries of the Robertson Valley include some of the best in the country.
If you want a peaceful, interesting place to spend a few days then I recommend Cape Cottages at McGregor.
