I was in Chichiriviche with my husband and our children (4 and 13 years) in March.
The rooms are complete with all possible comforts: big TV, air conditioned, impeccable towels and bedlinen and room was pleasantly cinnamom smelling: same standards of a 4 stars hotel!
All the structure is furnished and decorated with extreme taste: Patrizia, the "posadera", is an architect!
Patrizia is a very lively and warm person, she made any effort to help us in organizing our trip (booking taxi to Caracas at a good fare, giving us any information and advice we needed, before leaving) and in making our stay a memorable holiday!
The posada is located in front of the beach and a boat comes every morning to pick you up and bring you to the islands, if you like. Michelangelo, the boatman, is a very expert and reliable person and was able to bring us to the cayos (the sea was always very calm at the islands) even if the sea was very choppy at the beach close to the posada
Patrizia is an exceptional "posadera": she makes you feel at home and does any effort to meet children's needs and their food preferences.
What to say about the food...Patrizia is an exceptional cook: she is so creative and using first quality ingredients: the menu is always a surprise, mixing Italian and local traditions, accurate and different every day. Don't miss the "desajuno criollo": the tipical brakfast that surprise you for taste, variety and presentation.
Patrizia prepared for us a "lunch box" to be brought to the boat excursions: a big fridge with sandwiches, snacks, fruit and beverages that were every day different.
The staff is very kind and efficient and very well managed
Now we are in Italy, but we wish we still were there....
