“Superb Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

This is a perfect little hotel on Lake Garda, the rooms were spotlessly clean all with a view on to the lake.

The staff were excellent, all very friendly and polite, the service from the bar and resturant staff was excellent.

The food both for breakfast and dinner was faultless, the only complaint being that the portion sizes are rather large.

A real must stay if you are going to this area of Garda!

Oh, where to start!

This hotell is a small, little butique hotel you need to stay at if you are going to Lake Garda.!
The rooms are sweet and very italian classic styled. Our room had a sweet little balcony in the front, with a veiw over the lake and the pool. The bathroom was clean with good space.

The pool area is really wonderful, with the pool on one side, and the lake on the other. You shuld also eat lunch at the resturant, and try the awsome tiramisu. Something to remember!

They have a really cosy "livingroom" area with sofas and chairs. It was nice to sit down there and have a drink and look at the beachside. We only stayed for 2 days and next time we will book for a week. Cant wait <3

This wonderful little boutique hotel is a must. I have just returned from a 5 day stay and could not fault this hotel. The view of the lake is breath taking. The rooms are adequate and spotlessly clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast on the terrace is beautiful overlooking the lake. The pool area is well maintained and clean although we chose to lounge on the decking overlooking the lake-Superb!! We ate in the hotel twice for dinner and twice for lunch as the service and quality was far superior to anywhere else we had experienced. The gounds are very tidy and very peaceful. Only a 20min walk into Salo with it's lovely lake walkway and old streets-well worth a visit. This was a truly memorable experience and I cannot praise this hotel enough......Just Perfect!

Room Tip: All rooms are side lake facing - no one room is any better than another.

This was a trip we'd been looking forward to for many years. As a 25th wedding anniversary it was just perfect. The location was just what we wanted. The most amazing view of the lake to catch the setting sun over the mountains, a lake side position with its own access to the water and a nearby village with terrific places to eat. The hotel itself was very stylish without being over the top. It was neat and extremely well maintained making the best use ot the grounds and water front position. Breakfast by the lake was one of the most relaxing experiences of the whole stay and on the one occasion we ate there in the evenning the location and attention to detail was perfect. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and attentive. The room was neat and gave the impression of being well cared with the whole interior looking as though it had just been decorated. This was an excellent hotel in a perfect location making the holiday one of the best experiences we have had together.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the south west facing side, first or second floor to catch the evening sunshine on...

We have just returned from a 7 night holiday to this wonderful hotel on the shores of Lake Garda. The restaurant serves excellent food with great service, and the staff throughout the hotel are extremely friendly!! Our room overlooking the pool and the lake was very clean with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. This is a small family run hotel and because of this you don't feel you are just a number it feels more like you are staying with friends.Breakfast can be taken outside so close to the lake you can nearly dip your toes in to keep them cool. All in all a great little hotel and one we will definately return to.

We have just returned from a 7 night holiday to this charming hotel on the shores of Lake Garda. Travelled by car from England and parked in the hotels own small car park. The restaurant serves excellent food with great service. Part of the seating area is outside next to the lake and we were able to sit out every night. The rooms are delightful and are kept very clean. The hotel grounds are peaceful and surround a swimming pool. It’s a lovely 10-15 minute walk to the Gardone Riviera where you can board the ferries to other parts of the lake. The staff are professional and friendly. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Just returned from Lake Garda and the Spiaggia d'Oro hotel. This is a smallish (36 rooms) hotel, but don't let the size put you off. Our initial room (212) had only a shower which one had to run around in to get wet, but when we spoke to reception they bent over backwards to get us to another room that we were comfortable with. It turns out that only one room on each floor has a bath (x08) but that puts you slap in the middle of the side of the hotel, overlooking the pool and getting the setting sun on your balcony. Within 5 minutes of moving rooms, all the staff in the hotel knew our new room number - how good is that? When we chose to eat in the hole restaurant, we found that the food was of high international quality. Go back? Yes please.
