“Personal View of Natural Wonder”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

We enjoyed our walk in the Burren at Grannie's Cottage with Darren, a resident of the area. This was a great way to hear about the place from a local perspective. The home made treats and tea were a cozy way to savor the experience.

“Burren Wild Tours”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

A fantastic tour! We all thought it was grand....from my 81 year old mother down to my niece! John and Kasia made us feel like long lost friends. The tour was an easy walk up into the beautiful Burren and we loved the walking sticks that were provided at no charge. Our enthusiasm was not dimmed by the rain that fell. Kasia had a lovely hot cuppa and some delicious homemade desserts to enjoy by the crackling fire in Granny's cottage when we returned. I loved that this was a real family run business...their attention to detail was evident everywhere...right down to the spotless restrooms! I would definitely recommend a stop here for a true taste of Irish hospitality!

“Wonderful walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

Our tour group visited the farm just today. We were greeted warmly and soon set off up the mountain. We stopped several times to hear about the local history, the amazing rock and life in that area. It was very interesting and beautiful. Even though we went in March and it was chilly, you could appreciate how beautiful the land is in all seasons. At the end of the walk, we were welcomed into a cozy cottage for tea and cake. Our group really loved this stop, don't miss it!

“A True Experience of Ireland - ABSOLUTE MUST SEE & DO!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

My wife and I truly enjoyed this tour. We were blessed with a sunny day and the views from John Connolly's family's land was remarkable and breathtaking. John was extremely knowledgeable of his family's history and culture. He left an impact on us both about the Irish we'll never forget. Truly a generous man that will make us recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ireland in the future. We stayed in Galway and took a bus tour. The tour gave us a choice to visit the caves or tour John's family's land (it was a beautiful day, so we decided to tour the land. Even if it's a rainy day, DO THE BURREN WILD TOURS!). The stories he shared were excellent and the homemade pies from Granny's recipe were absolutely delicious! We will be visiting John and Kasia when we return to Ireland. They were an absolute blessing to meet and we would recommend this to anyone visiting Ireland. Even on a rainy day, this experience is what you think of when you hear Ireland. This was an easy 10 out of 10!

When John and Kasia visit Washington, DC, they're more than welcome to stay at our home. All the best!

“John Connolly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

The day of this tour topped all other attractions in Ireland. The Cliffs of Moher presented such grandeur and an overwhelming sense of eternal beauty. My favorite part of the tour, however, was wandering up the hills of a farm, guided by the incredibly handsome and endearing owner John Connolly (let's not forget his equally adorable Greta). His love of the land, animals, and all things Irish made the tour that much more meaningful, not to mention his wonderful wit and intellect. The kindness and warmth seeping through the award-winning cakes and hot- off- the-stove tarts envelop Granny's Cottage. Mr. Connolly puts on that apron and makes sure each and every customer has been accommodated. Beyond all of this splendid atmosphere, make sure Mr. Connolly belts out an Irish song; if you didn't love the experience already, at least you'll fall in love as he sings a lovely, old, Irish folksong. Visit, stay (I wish I had), and breathe in the pure beauty of the Irish countryside.
