“Great Food, Long wait”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

We came here during an island trip with Junior Thomas. The food was excellent and probably some of the best we had during our time on Tobago.
However expect the wait to be long and the service somewhat chaotic. When were arrived it was not busy at all and we still had to wait for service and the food for quite some time.
If you are not in a rush then it is definitely worth the visit!

“Lovely Meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

We had been to Jemma's 10 years ago and little had changed.
The food is all delicious and despite a group of 10 people with very varied tastes, everyone found something they enjoyed.
Sadly we were not in the main part of the restaurant so lost the ambience a bit. Service was slow and not as friendly as elsewhere in Tobago.

“Don't leave Tobago without eating at Jemma's......”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

Where to start.... Tobago is amazing, the scenery is superb and the locals friendly. We had heard about Jemma's from other guests at our hotel, it's easy to find on the East coast of the island and well worth the trip. The food is fantastic, I can honestly say it was the best meal I have EVER had when eating out... and I've had more than my share of dinners...! We ordered the food about 6.30pm and had to wait a while for it as they were very busy but it's SO worth it in the end.
The location is perfect. We sat upstairs looking out of the open windows onto the sea just as a thunderstorm started...blissful.

“Lunch in a treehouse”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

A bit of a gimmick being built around a tree but nevertheless a popular destination for good food overlooking Speyside Bay. You must try it

“A novel and popular restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

We stopped off for lunch at Jemma's Treehouse Restaurant at Speyside whilst touring with Wayne Kennedy. Built on different levels around a large tree and close to the sea it is a popular eatery which appeals to groups of tourists and can get very busy. But the food is worth the wait if there are delays, and there is a good choice.
