Our time at Korovou could have been much better if we had a different group of people there than we did. When we arrived we checked into our double room which was pretty nice with a private bathroom and fanned room with a nice beach just a few metres away from your door step. We enjoyed a few hours of just chilling out by the pool but then as soon as the boat from the north arrived, a group of 35 18 years olds got off who just screamed for the next 2 days and just basically took the place over. It was a bit annoying that the staff allowed them to as basically everyone who wasn’t in their group was getting pissed off with them and people who were leaving seemed very relieved. Anyway, that was just our experience and wouldn’t be any reason for people not to visit here as I doubt it’s a regular thing.
The whole resort looks well maintained and looks nice in general and the pool is very handy during low tide. The beach is huge and you can go for quite a decent walk in either direction.
The food was pretty good as well, especially at dinner although the lunch was pretty basic in comparison.
There are a few interesting trips that can be done here like swimming with the Manta-rays but we were told by a staff member not to bother with the WW2 plane wreck as it was a waste of time and was just a sheet of metal sticking out the ground, so we appreciated his honesty.
Overall it’s a pretty decent place, by no means one of the best in the Yasawas but no-where near the worst either.
