“Great location, great stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2014

We stayed 14 nights and had a great time! As we read some feedback of other guests we knew what to expect.
As many before stated there is a ventilator in each room, but no airco. This was for me the only thing that I "missed" as the nights were quit warm too. We had our own fridge in our room, not all rooms have, so that was great. But if you don't have one in your room, you can use the big one in the breakfast/livingroom. We had a twinbed room, which was more then enough for the two of us. Daily room cleaning and fresh towels.
Breakfast is quit simple, but for us more then sufficient. We had toast, marmalade, cheese, coffee, tea, juice, yogurt, muesli, milk, fresh fruits and some days eggs and baked bananas.
Bobby and Mary are great! They gave us some good tips and were always helpfull!

The location is great. You can lay in the garden and look over the beach and the ocean. The beach is directly in front, you just have to cross a little road. The busstops for both directions are 1-2 min away. Do take the bus! It's very cheap (5rps/pp) and an experience on it's own. There is a small supermarket to the right (coming from the guesthouse), but even better is Mike's shop. This is a little smaller, but he has many things and Mike is very friendly! (Incl snorkel stuff, watershoes, suncream etc in case you forgotten anything)
On wednesdays there is a little market, but also go there on the other days! There are some locals grilling fresh fish for little money, great food! Do check that the fish is fresh and not laying around for some hours..
There are several "restaurants" closeby. Our favourites were "la Fontaine", simple but tasty food for a good price! "La Plage" great food and directly on the beach, but also quit pricy. There are some more like "boathouse" (only Buffet) and baobab (cheap and bad Pizza) which we can't really recommand.
Unfortunately there is mo real "nightlife", you can go for a drink at the "Savoy" hotel, cocktails are great but also quit pricy (12-15€). Better buy some drinks at Mike's shop and sit outside at ghe guesthouse, great to chat with other guests or to enjoy the evening.

All in all we had a great time and would love to come back!

Last week I stayed here for 3 days/2 nights. By arrival in the early morning I could pick up a plate and get myself some breakfast with a view over the blue ocean. The location is great; nearby the bus station, you only have to cross the street to reach the populair beach Beau Vallon, there's a little walk filled with restaurants from fancy diners to local fish buffets.
The Guesthouse itself is clean, comfortable with spacious rooms. A simple breakfast is served every day from 07.30am with everything you need; bread, coffee/tea, cereals and fresh fruits. The couple who runs this Guesthouse are very friendly and are wiling to help you with whatever you need. They make you feel welcome and making sure you will leave the island with the idea coming back to this place.

Room was very clean. Breakfast was normal. Woman in charge was very helpful with information, but had the point of a bit strict with the rules of washing and cleaning the room. Also, the house cleaning was annoying by knocking us the door twice every morning when we tried to relax. Anyway, the location is very good and very close to the beach and restaurants. If you feel easily disturbed by cars, avoid the rooms that look to the ocean and the nearby road.

I went there on a business trip and afterwards, my family joined me. Clean rooms, although air conditioning would be most welcome when it's really hot, without TV. Moreover, the courtesy of the staff and the kindness of Mary and her husband, who run the place, more than made up for it. You can count on them in terms of integrity as my wife forgot her cellphone in the room and they kept it safe, not even trying to answer any incoming calls. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruits from their own courtyard. There is enough space to relax during the day and the TV lounge is welcoming. The sound of the waves while you sleep in the room was great and the proximity of the beach is a plus point. It was my first stay in Seychelles and a very good memory.

The guesthouse is very nice and comfortable for a holiday stay, because it is situated right at the Beau Vallon beach. It is a family held guesthouse and the owners are very friendly and responsive. After our arrival we had got all the assistance and information needed.
Wi-fi is stable and has a good speed. The security is watched thoroughly. The parking is convenient. The rooms were clean and pretty (everyday cleaning and towels change).
There was no air condition in the room, but it is not needed at all - the room was cool and the fan was enough to get used to the island climate.
We crossed the whole island by car, so I'm sure to say it is the best quality-price ratio hotel on the island. So I'm really surprised to see a negative review of some frenchmen and can recommend them to stay at Maia Resort next time for $10000 per day.

Room Tip: All the rooms are equivalent.

This is a very functional, clean and practical guesthouse which is near to the beach, bus stop and various eating places. It was useful to have a room safe with a personal code facility and a washing line to use for wet swimwear etc. and that odd pieces of washing. We stayed at the Panorama at both the beginning and at the end as part of an island hopping tour.

However, it was the experience and ingenuity of the hosts that made this a personal experience for us. We are eternally grateful to Mary and her husband for organised the meeting and greeting at the airport and transport to the guesthouse when our tour leader could not be located. Having missed our connecting flight we telephoned the guesthouse, as instructed by our tour, and left a message for our tour leader but when they could not contact her they used their initiative rather than leaving us standing at the airport after an extremely stressful and long journey. The sandal which Mary also helped mend lasted until our return! The hosts had the nice balance of being available without making their presence overtly obvious which lead to a nice relaxed atmosphere.

I've stayed at the Panorama Guesthouse for 8 Nights. It was a great stay. The room was clean and spacious. There was a big fridge in the room as well a safe for your belongings. The location is perfect for a holiday at the beach, the beach is located just across the road. Nearby there are a couple of grocery stores and some restaurants.

The bus stop is directly in front of the guest house, from there it is a 20 minute bus ride to Victoria the capital of the Seychelles.

Mary & Bobby and her employees made my stay very comfortable, they arranged a rental car for me and the breakfast every day was the perfect start for the day.

I would definitely recommend this place place for a stay at the Seychelles.
