“Pleasant stay !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

We stayed here back in Feb this year and due to my laziness didn't write the feedback earlier.
This is a good B&B hotel, with nothing wrong about it. The location is excellent and we got a room on the first floor, so had an ocean view. The owners live besides the hotel only and made us feel very comfortable and staff served well. The rooms are big and airy, only downside was the small bed. Bathroom again was spacious, less of the luxury is covered by space in rooms. The restro has a nice feel to it and food was good too.

Room Tip: rooms on the ground floor don't have a great view, so take on the first floor or above

We stayed just two nights (arriving and leaving) , the first night we realised that was dirty, not safe at all, the restaurant was not good and the service was more than disappointed there was nobody in reception at nights!!!!. We went to the hotel next to it even if we had to pay double hotel because this one was VERY BAD, we didn’t wanted a 5 luxury, we just wanted a descent and clean hotel but this one does not even classify to be called an Hotel.
Avoid it !!!
Only Pro is the beach in front but all other hotels have.

It's a nice place to stay the beach in front of the hotel is beautiful, the breakfast and the dinner was nice and the price for the wine was very reasonable. One of the morning my boyfriend was helping the fisherman it was a unique experience.
If you want to go out you can still go in the hotel next door the Berjaya for a drink when we were there they had a live group and 3 or 4 customers I think the price are bite ridiculous the can of beer was around €9.

A great place to spend time. Close to beach, bus stop, small village and nature!

Very spacious room, comfortable bed and good bathroom shower!

Buffet meals very good. We ate here five times(with one of these thrown in for free!)
Restaurant area, pleasant, but no atmosphere or attractive bar where you could sit
and sip a drink! Needs something to brighten this up and maybe a colourful poster
displaying what`s on offer.. Could have small snacks available at lunchtime too, although
never anyone around restaurant area during the day,This needs some thought,to offer drinks
around 12-2pm..

Overall a lovely holiday spent here, although I did get bitten after six days..and menacing bites too! Maybe it was because I stayed at garden level room 5!

Room Tip: Probably best if you request a room upstairs..because of the biters!

This is a lovely family-run hotel in Beau Vallon Bay - the staff are friendly and helpful, and you can walk straight onto the beach through the garden. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious (with lovely quiet air-con!), and we had a balcony looking out over the garden to the beach. The food is also great quality - I would recommend staying half board as dinner is excellent. There are several dive centres nearby, and lots of great dive sites in the area. I stayed here with my son in January 2013, just for a weekend (mostly we were based on Praslin, which is a lovely quiet island), and would definitely recommend the Augerine if you are staying on Mahe - it's very relaxed.

What a wonderful retreat on one of the most beautiful beaches on earth. It is a dream to step out of one's room, take a few steps through the garden and on to Beau Vallon Beach. The hotel has without a doubt the best position on the beach. This family run hotel is charming, relaxed and happy. The food served in a picturesque open setting is tasty and very good local creole food. It is fresh and it is tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful and you feel at home as part of the extended family. The hotel is clean, spacious and comfortable. We felt at home in a little corner of Paradise

The location of the Augerine is ideal, right on Anse Beau Vallon. This small inn is a no hassle location, where you are just steps away from the beach. Our room was clean and spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea. The "dining room" is open air. I suggest half board, as the food is tastier here and less than some of the neighborhood restaurants. we only stayed two nights, but I could have stayed here longer. For my next visit, I plan to just stay here! The bus stop is also very close, and it's also very easy to get to the trail head for a hike to Anse Majore, which is an outstanding hike, not to mention one of the most beautiful beaches on the Seychelles.
