In the middle of nowhere this lovely old house pops up unannounced. This cute coffee shop and restaurant is owned by two fisherman's wives. I hear their fish soup is to die for, though we only went for a hot drink and cake. We thoroughly enjoyed a piece of caramel crunch pavlova. Oh my word, we could not get enough, and spent the rest of our trip trying to find one to match it. We did not succeed!
One of the women's sons does all the artwork himself, which gives the whole cafe a really nice personal touch. You can tell it used to be a house, and the conversion is lovely and quaint.
A lovely visit.
