“For 33 euros you get fantastic classics with twists”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

We stayed in the hotel and have written a review. The food is very good indeed and any criticism would be nit picking. Very attentive service without being intrusive. All needs catered for and a good 'kids' meal for the little ones.

Amuse Bouche were wonderful with mini homemade baguettes, what this menu lacked in choice it made up for with wonderful food. Classic french cooking with the occasional modern twist really hit the spot. The place was packed with regulars and locals. I have a feeling that when we return one day we will be remembered by the hostess. Its a real class act from a family run hotel. The rooms and hotel side are as good as the food.

“Trading on its Michelin Guide reputation”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2011

The guide inspectors must have been seduced by the highly prinked, picture-on-a-plate presentation of the food here. It is food as fashion-model - dressed, made-up, styled and accessorised. Some of it is delicious, but some is frankly mediocre. It is also very expensive at 55-62 euros for the menu les patrons want you to buy (the "cheap" one is 29 euros). Someone has to pay for all the handling and treatment inflicted on the ingredients. The wine list is good but also costly, and an aperitif will contribute to the wallet-emptying; even a tomato juice costs 6 euros. The package deal for commercial travellers is good, many of them use Le Logis.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2010

The first time we stayed the restaurant was closed due to a family celerbation. the second time the food was very good but not memorable. This 2nd time the restaurant was very quiet, but we enjoyed it as we celebrated my wife's birthday!!

“Great restaurant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2009

Stayed for one night in mid - July 2009. The room was on the small side but spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. The en-suite shower room was well equipped.
The restaurant was excellent - don't bother to eat anywhere else. The food/wine choice and price is wide. The lady ( wife ? ) of the hotel owner speaks good english.
Recommended.
