My Wife and i stayed here on business for a few days and thought that we would make a mini holiday of it so stayed and extra 4 days. The immediate sense of God I am not staying here hits you when you arrive. We didn't book the place it was booked through our company so not having to pay for the place directly out of our own pocket was a comforting feeling. We also had the you have to pay for AC. Safe etc. We did not have hot water for the first day day of the stay which we reported, it wasn't until 5 days into the stay that it got fixed but considering the heat hot water is not that essential and the hotel compensated us for that. Generally the place is clean and tidy and i would highly recommend going over the road to Sandy Lance Beach for lunch and dinner, this will set you back 500 BB Dollars about £150 with Wine and a lot of food but the hotels are two worlds apart. If you do go to Sandy Lane make sure that you dress accordingly and they wont let anyone in, your face will need to fit. We strolled in saying we were meeting the Rooney's for lunch which as we knew they were staying there we got escorted to the beach bar where we said we were meeting. After that and getting to know the hotel managers and staff who are ultra caring and friendly we soon became part of the Sandy Lane family and went back several times for lunches and dinners. As for All seasons, if your looking for somewhere to rest your head and not have any comforts go there. I would recommend going else where if your looking for a special holiday and for a nice hotel self catering or not this is butlins in paradise, so if your a used to that sort of thing this is place is up your street.

My wife and I stayed here and it was very good. Food, drinks and staff were all excellent. Cheryl at the front desk was very helpful giving us ideas on tours and places to go. We were here in the rainy season but it only rained 3 days, but not very long at a time...but when it rains...take cover...wow. I would recommend this place for everyone

Room Tip: around the pool is good but it could get noisy. We stayed in the garden view cabins, close to the po...

We went and stayed here on our second visit to Barbados, nice, quite and clean. You have everything in you room that you need to prepare food, that's if you decide not to go to the local place for food.
Pool was nice and clean, we found you couldn't leave your door open due to the monkeys coming in and eating your food, there were quite a few cats around the resort.
You pay for what you get we paid £1000 each for 2 weeks and that was back in 2011, we drove around the resort yesterday and nothing seemed to have changed.
Overall a nice place
Please note I stayed here in 2011

I have just returned from a 3 week stay at the ASR & apart from a few slight glitches the stay was reasonably pleasant. After having a discussion with the reception staff regarding the price we were originally quoted and going back and forth we finally got the original price we agreed on. We were also told upon arrival that a deposit of 300 Barbados dollars was required which we were not told beforehand & having paid for the stay on my card I had to pay for this out of my spending money which therefore left me short for the rest of my stay. Other hidden extras included having to pay for air con (28 Barbados dollars per night) & for the safe if you wanted to use them. We didn't pay for either as we could just not justify the cost, however air con really is a must as particularly at night the room becomes a sauna! The pool & restaurant area are lovely & the bar staff are friendly and always willing to help. The wifi was very hit & miss, some days it would work fine in the room & then other days it just wouldn't work at all anywhere or you'd have to sit by the bar to be able to use it. They have a shuttle service that will take you anywhere within a 3km radius of the resort at 10.15 & again at 2pm and also offer to pick you up, however the two times that we asked to get picked up; once the driver was an hour late & another we had to call to remind him to come & get us... However he will take you to Jordan's supermarket & wait while you shop which is very useful. The rooms are basic but have everything you need & are quite spacious, the cleaners also come round every day & do a very good job! The main thing that I would say I was disappointed with would be a certain member of the reception staff. Unfortunately I don't know her name but there is a short haired lady that was extremely rude & condescending to me & my friend. She had previously forgot to order us a taxi that we had asked for but the main issue was with miscommunication. The day before we were due to check out we had a call to say that they thought we were leaving on that day... Having gone through the dates thoroughly upon arrival it was frustrating that we had to go through it all over again. We went to reception & the lady abruptly asked for our receipts, we gave them to her (the only receipts we ever received when we checked in...) & she quickly disregarded them saying that they were no good! We tried to explain that they were the only receipts we received but she repeatedly cut us off mid sentence several times basically saying that we did not understand how their check out dates work & laughing, implying that we were almost too simple to understand! As this was our last day we didn't have much money left so we asked if we could pay the extra night that they insisted on with our deposit, to which she sarcastically replied 'money is money is money'...! For me the overall stay here was average but it only takes one member of staff to ruin your stay. I felt as if their main aim was to get as much money out of the guests as possible through hidden extras & I would definitely advise staying in an all inclusive hotel if ever travelling to Barbados!

Upon arrival we were told that that our stay was £400 more than we had been quoted. Fortunately the member of staff that we had originally spoken to was still on duty and eventually after a lot of debating we did manage to reach an agreeable price. Then we were told that air con was an extra $28 (barbados) per night and the safe an extra $16 (barbados) per night, which had not been made clear.
The rooms are basic, but the cleaners do an excellent job. The 'hotel' and gardens are all very clean and well looked after.
The walk to the nearest beach was roughly 20 minutes which in 90 degree heat was sometimes a bit much.
The wifi in the hotel was very hit and miss and did prove to be very frustrating at times. Eating out and supermarkets are very expensive in this area, having been all inclusive on our previous visit would definitely choose all inclusive on our next visit.
Air con is definitely required as sleeping can be unbearably hot, but the cost needs to be looked at, as we felt £120 for 12 nights was far too expensive, please remember to add this cost onto your overall cost, as it does make a big difference!
We hired a car for 3 days which is well worth doing.
Overall an enjoyable holiday, but watch out for hidden costs......

We stayed in this hotel a couple of weeks ago. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly, from cleaners to reception.
The rooms are very clean, basic which is what you need on holiday.
Make sure that you take take air con with the room, thank god we did otherwise it would have been unberable.
If you want to see the island, rent a car as there is not much that goes on in Holetown or anywhere for that matter, maybe it was the wrong time of the year

Room Tip: I don't think it makes any difference

The staff here was very friendly and helpful (esp Cheryl, she's such an angel). My stay was much much longer than I intended due to reasons beyond my control but it was a nice time overall. I love that the rooms have a kitchen area, i was able to cook and save money on feeding. The only negative is that the rooms didn't have internet, i had to go to the lobby every time i needed to use the internet. They should look into providing internet in the rooms even if it means making guests pay for it.
