Great stay and resort! it has the feeling of a small fishing village on the Mediterranean. The staff are incredible. We've found that there are 2 different types of people who work in hospitality. One group sees it as a job, the other enjoys guest and being a host, PSC is full of the later. They know that they shape your experience as much as the resort, and its amenities.

For example, our first night we wanted to go into Holetown to shop, dine and get groceries. Unfortunately, we were up against the clock as many of the stores close by 6 pm, and the shuttle service ends at 7 pm. Annia hearing our dilemma offered to help. She called the supermarket manager and arranged to have our groceries brought up on the shuttle and she delivered them to the room (and she unloaded them), allowing us to stay in town for dinner. Later in the week she went shopping at the local fish markets to pick out, and buy us fish.

We've been fortunate to see a lot of the Caribbean, and to stay in some very nice resorts and private homes. PSC is now at the top of the list for us and it's because of the outstanding staff and service. Thank you Annia,Vikki, Shakira, and others for a terrific week.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 345, a two bedroom unit overlooking the marina. Great for a family of four. Every...

We stayed in room 344 which is a one bedroom apartment. The place is special, very special. Take a walk up to Six Mens and but some fish from the fishermen who will charge you 10 Barbados $ for 10 flying fish. The complex, restaurant, beach and staff were exquisite. Water taxi man, front desk and all in between were superb.

The fishcakes at the yacht club restaurant were incredible, although as you get 8 I'd share. The burger was 10/10, expensive but will do you for 2 meals as its that big!

Use the ZR buses, Reggae reggae yellow buses or the government blue buses to get up and down the west coast in about 35-45 minutes no problem and at 60p a trip wherever you are headed its great value and I thought, perfectly safe.

We always say we'll go back somewhere but always end up somewhere different but I think we really will come back here. Its nice to see how the great and good live for yourself!!

This was our first trip to Barbados and I don't think we could have found anywhere more perfect to stay.
An amazing apartment with magnificent views, a beautiful peaceful beach, wonderful staff and a Yacht Club serving great food.

Barbados itself is fabulous, there are great places to see and eat (I recommend The Tides (amazing food & service) and Lobster Alive (Jazz Band on Sunday...Fantastic!)

The perfect place to get away from it all...

I actually really like this place but I can only comment on my experience. Aircon didn't work in 2 rooms, fan didn't work in one and TV didn't work. They were all fixed but the TV kept breaking, not that we were watching too much TV.

To top it off, they wew doing works in another apartment which consisted of using a pneumatic drill for the good art of 3 days and banging and hammering for another 3. I would add that the restaurant is OK, but not as good as others and certainly over priced...and the location within Barbados is poor.

HOWEVER, the apartment was lovely, we were upgraded, the beach was nice and the staff were friendly, polite and they did endeavour to fix problems quickly. In short I would recommend this place, but not outside of peak season.

PS, don't get a cheap room by the road, if we were not upgraded, that would frustrate.

Stayed in a private house, but spent a lot of time at Port St Charles, extremely friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Met the manager Steve Austin, lovely guy, very helpful. The complex was very plush, the apartments were amazing, the part we used was the Yacht Club, great location, food and service was second to none. You could spend the whole day there, on the sun beds and swimming in the lovely Caribbean sea.

Barbados itself was just perfect

We've stayed at Port St. Charles four times and the staff are like family. The accommodations are well put together and we have everything we need to make it a home away from home. Travelling with young kids, having a protected beach area makes it safer for kids and the option of two pools is good for variety. We really appreciate the fact that it's not crowded and is the perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying downtime.

Room Tip: If you have young kids, some rooms have a wide gap under the balcony railing which they can cover wi...
