“Quiet Famliy Retreat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2010

Good Little Harbour is quiet and remote. The rooms are best described as little chatle duplexes which include a full kitchen, living room, and a nice upstairs bedroom. The staff were very nice and extremely clean.

You'll need to rent a car or spend a fortune on taxis to get anywhere or do anything.
The beach was nonexistent. Perhaps the time of year or the recent storm made for high seas but there was NO BEACH.

For the style of accommodation and the high price Good Little Harbour best serves affluent families with young children. Which, by the looks of it, were the main guests during our stay. Lots of young children. I wouldn't recommend it for a couple who want a base from which to explore Barbados.

If you wanted to stay at a couple of different places around Barbados during your time there I wouldn't stay longer than 2 nights here. Three nights in the south at Little Arches, a couple of nights here, and a couple of nights on the east coast might make the most rewarding use of your time on Barbados.

The best part was the Fish Pot Restaurant. Excellent staff. Excellent food.

We arrived to LGH in the afternoon and immediately kayaked out into the ocean to swim with the turtles. The timing was perfect! As soon as we jumped in their were huge turtles everywhere! Truly an amazing experience! The villa was very impressive with modern amenities and features. Claw foot bathtub perfect for relaxation, fully equipped kitchen and enormous balcony! Paul and I agreed that the food we ate at The Fish Pot was the very best food we had ever eaten! Our time in Barbados was amazing. The beautiful ocean and the polite Bajans smiling at us made our trip a supreme delight! We will definitely make it back one day!

We have eaten at The Fish Pot next door, and under the same management since it opened, but this was our first visit for 3 years. We were very lucky to have booked into The Fort Suite at Little Good Harbour for 2 weeks in November - and we had the best of both worlds! Sleeping and eating on the sea! Great food! Great accommodation, Great style!

We had a lovely time here, the staff are great, hospitality was first rate, facilities are lovely and we were very happy with our special deal with mr and mrs smith - would highly recommend.

it's nice not to be in the thick of st james with most of the other tourists and it's easy to hire a car and travel around the island.

i left an item behind in the room and Graham (the manager) has very kindly arranged to get it back to me.

Would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at Little Good Harbour almost a year ago. We had a beautiful time.
Graham, Trevor and the staff were super, kind and generous.
Relaxed, read, and everyday snorkeling in their sea.
We cannot say enough about it. Looking forward to a return.
Thank you all so much.

We stayed in the Fort Suite with the beach and view right outside the window. Brilliant. Kayaking was a highlight, particularly to see turtles. The larger pool was great. It was never busy and always tranquil. The Fish Pot restaurant was a treat. The restaurant staff were all very helpful and good ambassadors.
Overall, a fabulous place to stay for a family break.

Lovely place if you hate touristy places, this is really low key, excellent food with baby sitting small private beach and lovely pools and within an easy drive/taxi of other restaurants and site seeing stuff. Monkeys in the garden too. I am definitely going back and i never say that!
