We traveled little good harbour after a 10 day holiday in the grenadine islands. It was the perfect place to unwind! Rooms were clean and beautiful. Pools were clean and relaxing. The fish pot has the BEST caesar salad lol. The beach was very nice and calm water. Only down fall was it was right in front of the fish pot. So all the people eating got a good glimpse of you in your bathing suit. I was 6 months pregnant and enjoyed every minute!

My wife and I held our wedding at LGH this past October 2012. We had never visited Barbados before and didn’t know what to expect. The property and cottages are beautiful and were perfect for a wedding party of 25 guests. Graham, Trevor, and Tracy took great care of us from the moment we got there. When some unusual rough weather threatened our plan to get married on the beach, Graham immediately had a back-up plan w/ a beautiful cottage and garden right off the beach. The Fish Pot restaurant provided some of the best meals we had during our entire trip to Barbados, and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. The 2 BR fort apartment where we stayed (over the Fish Pot) is stunning, with waves crashing just outside the windows below us, and an incredible patio overlooking the carribean sea. Extra Special thanks to Graham for all he did for us, he was "unofficially" recruited as our wedding planner and took it all in stride, taking care of every little detail. That man deserves a raise!! -Roddy & Tracee

Room Tip: The upper floor cottages (Leaping Lizard, etc.) have great, large outdoor patios overlooking the res...

Top quality service from start to finish. My wife and I stayed for one week on the Summer Special deal, which provided excellent value. The hotel staff go to great lengths to meet your every need with minimum fuss. Without fail they were polite, courteous, friendly and efficient. We arrived about 8 pm, my wife was ill yet I was hungry. The Fish Pot staff quickly realised the problem and offered to deliver my dinner to the room. Our room was upgraded without asking and we were permitted a late check-out at 6pm with no extra cost. A nice touch was that the taxi transfer delivered us directly to our room without delay or the need to sign any forms at reception. My wife was really impressed with the Spa treatments from Nicole, particualrly the facial. The hotel location and grounds are beautiful. Hire car recommended for trips to shops, other restaurants and sight-seeing. It's really hard to find fault with this hotel. We'll certainly be returning.

We used Jetsetter to secure a reservation in the off season, and we were upgraded to a three bedroom Vineyard bungalow in the rear of the property. The bungalow had a large covered porch and full kitchen. We were able to buy groceries down the street and cook some of our meals. Every night we had to go on a "green frog" hunt, since the little guys would get into our bedroom - it wasn't a bother, but be aware that the frogs are everywhere.

The beach across the road is small, so if you are dreaming of endless beaches, this beach isn't for you. But, it is secluded and fairly empty, and great for sunsets.

The Fish Pot Restaurant is OK, but convenient across the road.

The property is on the very northwest portion of the island, and the roads are two-lane with no shoulders and it can take some time getting places. This wasn't a problem as we rented a car for the long weekend.

If you are looking for a place which is secluded and restful, Little Good Harbour is your property.

2010- My then fiancé and I had considered pretty much every location around the world to get married in. Our requirement was simple, a very personal, small wedding in a pretty location with friends and family staying with us, with lovely accommodation and food. Italy was out as it was just too expensive and what seemed quite exploitative as soon as 'wedding' was mentioned. We had considered Barbados, but we felt that many of the hotels that did weddings might have been a bit conveyor belt like. By this point we were a bit despondent and were thinking lets just get married in the UK. It will be a lot easier...

We first visited Barbados in June 2010 on a last minute holiday and we stumbled across Little Good Harbour one day whilst exploring the island. We were starving so went in for lunch and fell in love with the views from the Fishpot restaurant and it's style. Beautifully understated. Perfect and exactly what we had been looking for. We wondered if they did weddings? Thankfully they did and we got a complete tour of the hotel and its rooms and pretty much a set price. That would be our wedding location.

We spent the next year and a bit preparing. Initially it's probably fair to say that we found it a little too laid back. We weren't necessarily sure if things were sorted or not and exactly what the costs were. However, don't let this put you off. I think Bajan's work on a 'just in time' basis and that works for them. You just have to trust them.

So, fast forward to November 2011 and we returned to Barbados with about 20 of our closest family and friends for our wedding at Little Good Harbour. We only have positive things to say about Little Good Harbour, the staff were very helpful especially Graham (who was exceptional) and Trevor who did all they could to ensure our stay and our wedding ran smoothly. We had our wedding meal in the Fishpot restaurant, the food was outstanding and service was excellent. I would say that the food was the best I've ever had at a wedding and service wise, watching the staff help our younger guests dissect the massive tiger prawns was lovely.

The hotel made us feel that our wedding was the only wedding that they had done that year, it was so personal and special. It also was perfectly on budget.

Overall, our stay at Little Good Harbour was exactly what've we had hoped for. It is in a quiet location and we would definitely recommend a car to explore. The rooms were spacious and clean, and fitted out well. The Little Spa was a great treat and sensibly priced, we definitely recommend a visit.

Thank you to Graham (who even came in on his day off to say goodbye to us) and all of the staff for making it such a memorable occasion both for my wife and our guests. Simply superb.

We will be returning and we are sorry it's taken almost a year to write this review, but we really wanted to spend the time doing a review that did it justice. (Still married btw)

Room Tip: The 3 bed fort suite is stunning with it's own lovely garden.

Many thanks for your review - you really have captured exactly what we have tried to achieve.

It is great to have guests that stay with us appreciate the staff and the efforts they go to. Graham and Trevor really do do a great job.

As the saying goes - treat people the way you would expect to be treated yourself.

Many thanks again and we hope to see you again soon - Happy anniversary.

Quite simply exceptional. I don't often write a review but I'm making an exception here. To Graham, Trevor, Andrew and all the staff - Thank you. Stunning villa, flawless service, amazing location. Thank you.

Room Tip: If you can afford it, get a 3 bedroom suite. They are stunning. All of them.

We had eaten at the Fish Pot on a couple of occasions (and very much enjoyed it) and decided to give the Little Good Harbour Hotel a go. Ideally we would have liked one of the two beach side suites but as these were booked we ended up with a garden suite which is over the road from the restaurant. Road is quite busy and seems to be a bit of a favourite for racing (and therefore can be a bit noisy).
Suites are really good, nicely designed and spacious, and are pretty good value for money.
Breakfast is very expensive and pretty shambolic - lack of choice and unavailability of menu items; so most people end up preparing food in their suites.
LGH is a bit out of the way so taxis are a necessity if going out in the evening - taxis are very pricey.
A lot of mosquitos when we were there in July, which was annoying (we had not been bothered on previous trips to the Island), however it seems there were a lot about generally so this isn't a dig at LGH
Sort the breakfast, source some decent inexpensive transoprt and an excellent rating would have been made
A special mention for Trevor, the Manager - one of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met
