“Brilliant !!! But very busy ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2014

We started the holiday in London and got the Eurostar to gare du nord . We then got the train from gare du Lyon to Marne La Valle . We were on the second room of the hotel . The view wasn't the best we had a view of the roof underneath us . The room was lovely and big there was a lovely big bed in the room . When we were there all the schools were on holiday so the 2 Parks were very very busy with waiting times of 100+ Minutes to get on rides even on the magic hours from 8-10 in the morning. To combat this we bought the premium fast pass which cost 59 euro per person . It was only on a few rides and only valid from 10-8 . The queue time was reduced on some rides from 120 minutes to 15 so it was worth it in that regard. We had a half board meal plan when arriving at the hotel we got 1 meal voucher per day per person which can be used in most of the restaurants for part payment of whatever you like or full payment of a set menu. You can also use the voucher in the fast food restaurants In the park each voucher was worth about 30 euro. All in all it was a.great stay and defiantly be back.

This hotel seems to not have changed since it opened, it feels worn out and old, the restaurants are a mix of canteens and restaurants, the staff just want to finish you so that they can serve the next table. The ONLY advantage of this hotel is the location which is unbeatable outside of Disney park. The reception staff don't know how to smile or they forgot - it is supposed to be a happy place, we'll one doesn't feel any of it in the hotel.

This hotels staff was friendly, helpful and always pleasant. The location, I believe, is amazing. You are right there only a few steps from everything. The down side; the rooms were very dirty. There was a hole in the wall of the bathroom that I was afraid some of Mickey's smaller relatives might live. The carpets always felt like they had never been washed and the beds were extremely uncomfortable.

This is actually a very nice hotel in an excellent location just 2 minutes from the Disney village and 10/15 from the parks. The rooms are spacious and whilst slightly dated are very well maintained and definitely what I would expect of a 4 star hotel.

My main problem was having a conference party going on until 2am below me and the attitude of the staff. Our family booked 4 rooms on the same floor. When returning to the room at midnight we could clearly hear blaring base music below and constant screams. We rang reception who informed us that there was a conference party but it would be finished by 2am. No apology. We eventually spoke to the duty manager who was more apologetic and arranged for us to move rooms. By this stage it was 1am and we found it very difficult to sleep until after 2 with all the commotion. My brother and his family were in the next room and got no sleep but couldn't move as they had two young children. I spoke with reception the next morning and the lady shrugged her shoulders and said "it's only one night soo...." She was very rude and no mention of an apology. How does a Disney Hotel feel it acceptable to hold a convention until 2am in the morning and expect guests with young children to put up with it whilst staying directly above.

Breakfast was good but ignore the fixed times they try and make you stick to as they will seat you anytime once you have a guest pass. The diner buffet is okay but I'd recommend the Manhatten Restaurant for dinner instead. They do good deals on set menus although service was a little slow.

The checkout was another rude encounter and went along the lines of:
Reception: Anything from mini bar
Me: No
Reception: Any phonecalls
Me: No
Reception : takes keys, hands receipt, walks away. No thank you or how was your stay etc.

Stayed here for 2 nights/3 days in the middle of march with a friend.

First impressions were fantastic and we couldn't believe how close the hotel was to disney village/parks. Check in was fast and staff member was friendly and very helpful. We were booked into a plaza room which was on the 4th floor. Room was clean, spacious and had a great view of the ice rink. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was also very good too.

We were given breakfast passes at check in with a time on those however the hotel were okay with us not sticking to the time and to make most of our days we went down at 7am. It was very quiet in the restaurant at this time and breakfast had good variety ranging from croissants, bacon, sausages, eggs etc. There was juice and hot drink machines and the tables were clean and set out well. The character meets in the hotel were great and we saw Goofy, Pluto, Minnie in the meeting area. We didn't get the time to use the swimming pool but had a look around the facilities and all looked great. We arranged with the hotel concierge for our luggage to be taken to the train station and were really surprised it was only 16 euros per room which we would defiantly do again.

We will be back next year and to stay in this hotel. Great for big kids like us and families. Highly recommend :)

We stayed here for 4 nights and were very pleased with the rooms and staff. We opted for an early breakfast which we enjoyed in both the Manhattan and Parkside restaurants. Our children especially enjoyed coming out of breakfast and then meeting Mickey Mouse and Minnie on different mornings in the foyer. We had our evening meal in the Parkside diner one night but didn't find the buffet there as varied as what was on offer in the neighbouring Sequoia Lodge Hunters Grill restaurant so we went there to eat on the other nights. If we ever return to Disney we would stay at the New York Hotel again.

I stayed here for 4 nights between December and January. The hotel is in a perfect location as it is right next to disney village and its about 5 minutes from the park and studios - meaning we didnt have to wait for shuttle buses or walk a long way and could pop back and forth throughout the day.
The staff were friendly and booked us in for restuarants when we arrived for the next couple of nights (probably for the best as they seemed to get booked up quite quickly) we did the half board premium package and i would highly recommend this, im sure it works out cheaper than paying for the food at the time! They took or luggage to our room for us on arrival and we were on the ground floor so luckily not any steps or lifts to incur during our stay.
The breakfast buffet was okay, lots of choice but not that great tasting and there was always a queue to wait to be seated. However dinner was always excellent, the food being lovely and service was good too.
The bar was good fun, the bartenders gave me a free drink on new years eve as we had been in there most nights by then and i thought this was a nice gesture. Cocktails are pricey but worth it.
The hotel rooms are a bit dated and could do with a re-furb however they are very spacious and comfortable enough. We found the room got very cold on a night time.
On New Years Eve the fireworks were right outside our hotel over the lake which was fabulous and a great way to end the year.
The hotel doesnt have a major Disney feel to it but i would definetley recommend this for your stay having stayed at the 2* Davy Crockett Ranch before.
