“A Dream Come True”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

We have three kids.. 6-year old princess, 3-year old prince and 10-months old baby girl. This trip is more for me (THE MUM!) than any of them. It is a dream come true for me and the husband is happy.

We will definitely be coming back again for a better planned trip! Booking early is the key to getting a good bargain which we did. We just felt that we didn't maximize what the hotel has to offer.

Mornings are happiest as we were excited to see Disney characters right after breakfast. Fabulous mornings!

We love the elegance of it all and the customer service is just super. And to think that we have very high expectations as we travel more than six hours by plane to be in Disneyland Paris!

My daughters and son are very happy. A dream come true indeed. Yes it is expensive but worth every penny. After all our family dreams big!

We travelled here with 4 kids under 5, including a 5month old baby. It was the best location to visit Disneyland, as there was minimal walking involved. The hotel is beautiful and with a very comfy and well appointed family room we had all the space we needed, including a dinning room table. We saw lots of characters in the hotel during our stay, and they had lots of time to spend with us and this was one of the highlights of our trip.
The only complaint I had was with the food, which was too expensive and could have been better.
We intend to stay here on our next trip. We highly recommend it.

This is the bar area in the Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris. It is a haven of tranquility in the otherwise manic busyness of the Disney Parks.

Waitress was lovely – service was a bit slow but there was just one waitress so hardly surprising.

We had a “cream” tea – 3 Mickey shaped waffles with cream, strawberry jam and nutella. 8 Euros each and it was delicious. Also had a pot of tea and the children had coke. Very filling – didn’t need lunch too.

This was our second stay at the Disneyland Hotel. Thanks to some clever words from my wife, we ended up in the same room as our last visit which is on the ground floor near the swimming pool. The room is more square in shape than many of the others and with the high ceiling feels more spacious.

There have been no improvement to the decor since our last visit, which surprised us a little, given that even then it was looking significantly dated. Having said that our room was clean, so we weren't too concerned.

Positives:
Location is amazing - right by the entrance to Disneyland Park.
Fun each morning seeing and meeting the characters at breakfast.
Breakfast offers a great choice - our daughter loves it.
Very simply and quick check-in. We got our room before normal check-in time.
Spacious room
Autograph Book and Pen for children
Afternoon cakes/treats

Negatives:
Expensive
Looking dated
Maids aren't up to scratch. Lazy and lack any kind of customer service skills

Room Tip: Ground Floor rooms are quicker to access and i suspect have higher ceilings which makes then seem la...

Overall the hotel is only a bonus as its right at the park entrance so no having to shuttle bus in and be hassled by the Disney Security folks who will take away any picnics to ensure you buy food in the parks. The other benefit is the issue of an instant fast pass. However, its one pass per person per day, and not valid between 1-4. Only the Castle Club suite guests get an all day VIP pass.

The hotel was clean and tidy but is getting a bit tired. Pool quite cold, and I found our room (2 adults 2 kids) a bit cramped. Balconies are not big enough to put any furniture on. No kettle in room...very poor.

Prices for food and drink. Horrendous! pint of beer £10. Buffet meal for 4. £140. Lunchtime Macdonalds style meal in the parks. £50. Minibar prices even worse. The a la carte restuarant £90 a head. Red wine £90 a bottle!

Breakfast...buffet style continental with an attempt to provide a full English. Hot plate is clearly an oxymoron! Service inconsistant

The parks...just brilliant.

Recommendation: Hop on the RER 1 stop to find a supermarket. Get up early and make the most of the 2 hrs for hotel guests only. Dont miss the stunt show in the movie park or the wild west show. Consider the half board options. There is no such thing as a bargain priced eatery here. Even the McDonalds in the Disney Village is 2-3X UK prices.

Verdict...wish I had gone to Florida :-)

Just returned from a three night break and can honestly say wow!! The hotel spotlessly clean smells gorgeous and hotel staff so friendly. The location to the park is excellent about 30 seconds from the park gates. Breakfast so much choice of hot and cold food as much as you want. Characters every breakfast time you can meet and they spend a good amount of time with each child and are very entertaining. They don't just stand and pose for the camera my 13 year old daughter had a dance with Pinocchio. The only thing I could say as a negative is there are no tea and coffee making facilities in your room but that is easily resolved I just asked for a kettle from reception and they bought me one up just remember to take your own tea bags etc. we had a Magical time and would now stay nowhere else if we go back

stayed for the 3rd time in appx 7 years
the location is excellent; a 1 minute walk from the entrance of Disneyland Paris
but:
not a lot of magic: very standard experience in all ways. Hotel rooms are dated, come with poor amenities (mini TV, AC that's not working well, a fridge you cannot use,no coffee or tea making facilities, no seperate shower...) and "two double beds" is ok " if it's not for sharing with adults
high (HIGH) prices for everything
Dinner in Inventions (buffet) was ok; good choice. Dinner in California Grill was ok for the quality of the food and totally not ok for the price paid
break fast buffet is a let down; not a lot of fresh products.
Swimming pool in the hotel is nice

so, when it comes to value for money, this hotel is not really ok.
