“Worth it- not expensive when you work it out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

Great deco. Staff friendly and efficient. Standard rooms feel like junior suites. Very conveniently located in the entrance to the park. Ideal for going in and out of parks without the need to go through security.

Disney village- 5 mins walk away

When you take into account the park entrance and the fact that you are I. The park and have extra hours, it's not that expensive,

Definitely would not stay in another hotel, plus your shopping gets delivered to your room, bliss!!

Stayed at the Disneyland Hotel last June and LOVED everything about it. The lobby is beautiful, Inventions has an awesome breakfast buffet, and the Cast Members are all incredibly courteous and extremely helpful. I highly recommend everyone stay at the Disneyland Hotel at least once...it is worth it.

Just returned from a 4 night break at this hotel and cannot praise it enough. We have stayed at a few of the other Disney hotels and always enjoyed our stay but this one was just amazing in every way. I had emailed the hotel before we arrived to ask for a room close to reception and the lift and we got exactly what we asked for. We were in Room 1216, on the second floor and close to the shop and corridor to the restaurants. The room was lovely with a view of the park entrance and suited us exactly. There was a full size fridge, great for storing drinks and snacks, the room was immaculate and we loved the fact there was a DVD player in the room, made life a lot easier having something the kids wanted to watch instead of just French channels. The pool was lovely although a little cold and Minnie's playroom great to help pass a wet hour
Characters were plentiful with Donald fighting with the Chipmunks in reception and then running away with peoples luggage, outside breakfast you could see who was coming at what time and others would just turn up unannounced which was great. We were lucky enough to be seated in the main room for breakfast on 2 of the mornings and had a fab view of the park. Food was plentiful with lots of choice, they even got in soy milk for my granddaughter with no fuss or extra cost. We ate in Inventions one night, just amazing. We had the half board plus vouchers and paid the extra supplement. Not cheap but worth every penny. We sat in the main part of the restaurant with a great view of the park entrance and felt like we could not have asked for better. We saw about 9 characters who all came over and spent time with every child, not like Cafe Mickey where we saw a grand total of 3 when we went there and they could not get away quick enough. Lots of choice on the buffet and we all found plenty to choose from. Staff were all polite and took the time to speak to you if asked a question, not like the experience we had in other places. Shop staff were happy to help and made a big fuss of my little granddaughter when we went in with her in a princess outfit. My son cried on our last day and keeps asking when we can go back. We will definitely return back to this hotel as feel we have been spoiled for any other. Ten out of Ten to all concerned, keep up the good work, you are all great !!

Room Tip: if travelling with a toddler ask for a room near the lifts, its a huge hotel and you can end up doin...

I simply cannot find a bad thing to say about this holiday. It was absolutely perfect in every way, our little disney princess is dying to go back already! the hotel was so convenient for the park and meant we didnt have to stay out all day if we didnt want too. we went for the full board package which I would highly recommend as you can eat in all the best restaurants. everything about this hotel was perfect, the service the cleanliness the staff the rooms the food, everything! can honestly say this is the best hotel ive ever stayed in and I wouldnt go back to DLP unless i was going back to the 'princess castle' Disneyland Hotel.......Simply Magical xxx

Just back from a 3 night, 4 day break for our daughters 5th birthday and the experience was absolutely amazing! The hotel is a perfect location with about 20 steps and your at the park entrance! The room was large and clean, the breakfast superb overlooking the castle and all the characters milling around the hotel really made the experience so special. An absolute must for any little price or princess! Only negative is that everything is so expensive!

Just returned from 2 night 3 day break at this hotel in the Castle Club. Travelled by Eurostar and I have to say the experience was amazing. After booking our luggage into Disney Express at the station we were told we could not book into hotel until 3pm (we arrived at 2pm). We walked to the park and decided to try our luck to see if we could book in, took our castle club letter to a staff member who immediately said 'you need someone' and came back to us 1 minute later with a chap who whisked us upstairs immediately, one-to-one check in, showed us all of the amenities and the special lift which would take us directly to the park. Our room was just a standard Castle Club (the same as the rest of the hotel) but it was amazing and plenty of room, I had read on here that there were no tea and coffee facilities but we had a coffee machine as well as kettle, and there was also a DVD player for later in the day. The room was spotless and although we did not have a park view this did not matter as we watched 'dreams' from the Castle Club lounge with a glass of wine - fantastic. The whole hotel was amazing and the smell - wow, staff could not do enough for us, service was excellent and the little touches (chocolate coins on your bed on an evening) just helped make this stay a dream. We are now spoilt and I could not imagine going back to Disney Paris unless we went to this hotel and stayed Castle Club, expensive but well worth it.

This was the perfect place to stay for visiting Disneyland Paris. Excellent location just outside the park, the breakfast buffet was phenomenal, and the facilities were all very nice - but they were very dated and the rooms were not very clean. We had lots of dirt in the corners of the bathroom and there was left over garbage on the floor next to the bed from the previous guest when we checked in. Pool was great - but closed very early. Americans are used to playing all day and swimming when we get back to the hotel but I guess Europeans don't do it that way. It's right next to the front gates of Disneyland Paris and right next to the train station. The hotel made some good arrangements for us to see Paris while we were there, BUT we were royally ripped off by a taxi service. We were leaving for the airport too early for the train for bus, so they told us a cab would be 40 to 60 Euros at the most. The cab came and the bill came to over 110 euros and there was no traffic. We argued with the driver and he said that since it was the 'night rate' were were charged more. It was 7:00 in the morning! We took down the info and reported it, too, and of course nothing. Not a great experience there. Ask about the fare before getting in, don't trust the info the hotel staff gives you.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the park...
