“Wonderful hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

We stayed at The Timbers for two nights and had chosen it for it's proximity to Priston Mill where we were attending a family wedding. Jackie and Ray were so welcoming and VERY helpful. The rooms were immaculate and breakfast delicious. We were a party of 8 and everyone came away saying what a super stay we had had and how genuinely lovely Jackie and Ray were.

Disregard to location wise.. i can say this B&B does fullfil what we always describe hardly found BEST. Was here last week for 2night stays with my family of 5members. Spacious and clean adjoining room does comfort our 1st aight as when we arrived. this b&b is well taken care by Jackie & Ray..Jackie is a wonderful chef who prepared tasty and full english breakfast for us every morning. Their warm and friendly services makes everyone of us enjoyed the stays real much. If best describe Bath, I would say The Timbers represent part of the quality tourism of Bath. Definitely wil return for revisit. And to Mrs Jackie...we will email u the photos we took at The Timbers =)

We were welcomed to this out-in-the-country location, with beautiful landscaping for our four night stay. The bedroom, with a king and 2 bunks was quite cramped for the two of us, but the bathroom was huge. The shower had separate controls from the bathtub, nice addition. The bathtub is large. Hot water very nice for both tub and shower. There is a nice, efficient dresser in the corner, but to use the table top, each evening, I removed the tray of cups, tea and sugar, as well as the electric kettle. The hooks on a door were essential, since the wardrobe had a set of shelves in it. Maintenance-wise, the blinds were broken by an earlier occupant so they could only be pulled open and shut across the window, but not twisted shut to block the daylight. The toilet lid stayed up until you sat on the toilet seat. Then it slapped you on the back. However, we reported this at breakfast and it was fixed while we were touring and worked fine subsequently. They were appreciative and happy to resolve what was a very minor fix. The breakfast was good – a normal full English breakfast. Generally quite satisfactory, though cramped. Hosts are very nice and welcoming people.

we stayed at the timbers for 2 nights and had the lovely family room - as we were attending a wedding . Jacky and Ray were very welcoming - nothing was too much trouble - fresh milk for tea on arrival, glasses for Champagnes on the morning of the wedding, great directions allowing us to fit a visit Wookey Hole and Cheddar in - as well as a meal out one night . and the breakfast is amazing .The garden is stunning - and a great place to enjoy a glass of something chilled on return from sightseeing - with a park and ride for Bath literally minutes away - this is a great peaceful haven for enjoying the fantastic countryside....oh and if you happen to forget something ....perhaps due to too much champagne at a wedding - Jacky will be on hand to sort you out ...

Room Tip: The family suite is great - private entrance - door to garden - large 4 poster and seperate room wit...

We stayed at the Timbers for 4 nights with our 2 children (8 yrs and 3 yrs) towards the end of May. We were in the family room which also had an adjoining bedroom as well as its own entrance. The children loved having their own room and felt very grown up. Jacky and Ray were warm and friendly and extremely welcoming and very good with the children. Breakfasts were tasty and filling and their garden is very pretty and peaceful. It is in a lovely area too and very close to Bath, so for us, an ideal location. The room was also quiet and we all slept well. We had a great stay and would recommend it to others.

Room Tip: If you want to have some time away from the children, then the family room with an adjoining room is...

Very nice place to stay. We were there with ou 2 young adult children in the family room (Big double bed and bunk bed). The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast presentation is amazing and very good.

Not in Bath but very close. 5-10 minutes drive approx

Jacky And Ray are very friendly and excellent weclomers. WE stayed in thetimers as it was first time for the family to explore the surrounding area of Bath and The timers is a very good place and recommended to a family to stay. Their generous breakfast was yummy as my kids said. We stayed for 3 nights, the beds were very comfortable . My kids said that they will miss Ray and Jacky and their beautiful and delicious breakfast.
Will stay again in future to explore more the surrounds that we did not have the chance to do.
