This place was fantastic, fine dining at it's best. We were a large group of 14 celebrating a family reunion near Eymet this past August. I am not exactly sure how the decision for this particular restaurant came about but I am so grateful nevertheless. The food, wine & service were outstanding. I must admit that I am not a big of foie gras fan but I was willing to give it a try. It seemed like the right thing to do while in France anyway. So glad I gave it whirl, the foie gras was excellent. Each & every course seemed to be better than the next. I had the Guinea fowl stuffed with mushrooms as a main course & it was amazing. The pairing of the wine w/ every meal was superb. The cheese plate alone was worth the price of admission. (35 euros pp) This place is a definite must do if you are in the area. We had such a lovely time, the ambiance was perfect. I was ao impressed. My only issue/semi complaint, if you can even call it that, was that the entire experience took well over five hours. I wasn't prepared for that at all but honestly it was no big deal. I highly recommend this place to everyone, you simply can't go wrong.
