Owner description: Funny Day Safari Park Ltd., Part. has more than 10 years of extensive experience in Travel and Tour business here in Koh Samui. Customer satisfaction is the most important thing and something that we always value. That's why we have made it through many years in business. We have just opened our Elephant Camp this year, spread over 48,000 square meters of land in Bophut, just a few minutes away from Fisherman's Village.

“Nice day outside”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

It was a nice day outside and we got to see a lot of Koh Samui`s attractions in one day. The lunch at the restaurant was good.

“Amazing value, wonderful sights”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014 via mobile

Funny Day Safaris is run by a wonderful lady named Chanita and her husband, Charin. They are hands on owners, greeting visitors and even helping out in the restaurant. The trip itself was great fun, especially interacting with the elephants and ascending in brand new 4 wheel drive jeeps up to the highest point of the island and enjoying the wonderful views. Lunch is simple but delicious and suitable for all palates. The Som Tam (papaya salad) is a just have! Chanita also runs a Thai Cookery Class but that will have to wait for my next visit.

“Good summing up of Samui”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2014

We could have done with more time at the big Buhda and less time waiting around at the elephant show, but otherwise a good tour.

“Good fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2014 via mobile

We were picked up on time and were taken with others to the elephant trekking ground. Riding the elephants were amazing, you got to feed, stroke and have many pictures if you ask one of their staff to take pictures rather than having to pay at the end for a photo from their professional photographer within the grounds! The elephants looked like they were taken care of and once we had finished the trek we moved on to a baby elephant show which was sweet but the things they did... Made a few of us upset by the way they had to lean on their trunks with their feet in the air! We then moved on to the monkey show which wasn't worth watching really as the monkey looked fed up! We were then taken to get some drinks which we had to pay for and then we had the croc show which was good fun! Scary mind but the guys had a good comedy act and it was a good laugh! Once they had finished we were taken for some food and again we had to pay for our own drinks before setting off to see the waterfall and swim, - not much to shout about but you can take a walk around in stead and have your photos taken with a tiger and see the elephants, the mountain viewpoint which was a great picture place, followed by wat plai laem - a couple of beautiful temples and sites, and then were taken to look at the mummified monk- you can also get blessed by a monk there which is quite nice! Overall... It was an enjoyable day, full of interaction and you get to meet people!
