A fantastic 10 day holiday was had by myself and my Husband. The General Manager excelled himself in all ways possible as did his hotel manager. The staff were polite, always please to help and they all looked clean tidy and well presented. Compliments to the chef the food was first class. We had the Deluxe suite, it had everything we needed, comfort, suitably chilled with a good working A/C and most importantly impeccably clean and well maintained. The views were awesome with a clean beach front and a good sized pool surrounded by well looked after sun beds tables and ample sun shade. All in all 10/10 for a wonderful experience, we will definitely be going back again

This is our second visit to Saboey, we came last year and since then they have made many changes and upgrades. The villa we had last year was a garden villa which was very nice, this year the bathrooms are brand new with rain showers and really hot water,(which I love).
Most of the old staff are here which is very nice and many recognized us from last year .
We were very happy to see Jonathon (the manager) was still here and he made us feel like long lost family.

The food is still very good with the fish meals being the best and also the best value.
The massage girls are on the beach ( a little shack, but the best massage ever).
We will spent 14 days here again in September and are already looking forward to it.
One tip ,if you want a special day out book the red baron boat, it does to many places on the idea,it is not cheap, but it is worth every cent

Room Tip: Suits are large cheap rooms, but have no view, upgrade to a villa is you want sea view

This was our third visit to this lovely hotel and it did not disappoint. We lived in the beach villa, which had amazing views, it was so beautiful.
The manager Jon gives 110%. He goes above and beyond any expectations I could ever have. He is helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his guests. Nothing is too much trouble. In fact all of the staff are very friendly and helpful.
I am now thinking about planning my fourth visit there. I would not hesitate in recommending this resort.

Room Tip: There are suites and villas available, pay the little bit extra and book a villa it is well worth it...

We returned last week from an unforgettably wonderful 2 week stay at Saboey. It was everything we wished for; beautiful situation, friendly and helpful staff well led by Jon and delicious food. The infinity pool is amazing overlooking the beach which is clean and quiet. We ate at the bar and restaurant a few times and the food was always delicious. I would advise staying in an ocean or beach villa if you can as the view is gorgeous and makes the holiday even more special. I would thoroughly recommend Saboey particularly if you want a slightly smaller and more intimate hotel with good service. It is a little oasis in a beautiful bay.

We had such a fantastic stay at Saboey! The staff were remarkable and really added to the experience on the island. Their knowledge of the area and eagerness to help us book outings was greatly appreciated ~ we enjoyed very much the time we sat by the pool eating, drinking and talking with the staff. One of the ladies even showed us how to write our names in Thai! In addition to the people that worked here the location and accommodations were ideal. It was an easy walk to the Big Buddha, it was on a nice quiet beach, there were ladies on the beach that offered daily massages (which was an daily indulgence that I wish I could still enjoy!) and the infinity pool was gorgeous! I cannot wait to return to the Saboey Resort!

Room Tip: the beach villas are definitely worth booking ~ they are lovely!

Just got home from a trip to Thailand! Some friends recommended this resort and we were not disappointed!! What a beautiful resort! A boutique resort that gives each and every client that stays there personal attention from the GM Jonathon and his wonderful and friendly staff! My friend and I even did the Thai cooking class! I love the Thai staff...they are warm and friendly and always willing to help you with any of your requests! If you are heading to Ko Samui you HAVE to stay with Jonathon and his staff at the Saboey Resort and Villas. Oh and don't forget to get your daily Thai massage on the beach...(I had one every day...the ladies on the beach were amazing). Thanks for a memorable trip Jonathon! It was a blast and we will do it again!

This resort is very well run. It is an older resort but with everything in great working order. The infinity pool is about 20 meter from the ocean with a clean beach. The lounge chairs around the pool are very comfortable. Staff comes around often to see if you would like a drink. There is a restaurant by the pool which serves great drinks and good food. Happy hour starts at 5 pm when cocktails 50% off. It is a smaller resort and if you enjoy peace and quiet this is the place for you. It costs around $9 to go to Chaweng if you want lots of commotion and people. Fun to visit but we sure are happy we stayed at Saboey, . Lots of helpful staff too. Great private deck at the deluxe rooms with ocean view.

Room Tip: Do splurge on a villa or deluxe room. Most of those have ocean views.
