“A REAL GEM!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

The resort has individual bungalows, each with a small sit out. The newly refurbished bungalows are absolutely gorgeous! Done in whites and creams, they exude a peaceful charm. The staff and polite and extremely helpful.
The breakfast is adequate though not lavish. It would be nice if they would include some local dishes like stir fried rice. Disadvantages are- no swimming pool or gym.

Room Tip: K 11 is fabulous. The beach facing ones looked great. Take rooms away from the main road.

Great location, almost right next to where everything happens in Chaweng but apart enough to contain the noise. Having said that, try to go for the bungalows closer to the beach to avoid any noise from the road from a nearby pub. It doesnt have a pool but has its own private beach right by your door. Breakfast isnt great but the room are very big and comfortable. The beach is sandy and quiet, very lovely. The beach is actually great for swimming, other top-end resorts have the beach also but they dont say the beach is full of seaweed and rocks, here you have the best part of Chaweng Beach for sure! Definitely would stay here again!

Room Tip: Go for the deluxe rooms, right by the beach and far from the potential noise from the back road.

The location of this hotel is excellent for those wanting to be close enough to the bars and restaurants but far enough away from the noise. The rooms of a bungalow variety are nice, we stayed in both the standard and superior, which is worth the extra and was an exceptional room and nice setting. The hotel doesn't have a pool but is beach front so you have the sea. The sun loungers are fairly uncomfortable and the breakfast is limited to continental, but you can't take away the nice stay we had and our recommendation that we would stay again!

This was our second visit to Kings. A lot has changed since we first visited in 2007.

The deluxe bungalow we stayed in this time was a lot smarter than the original ones, and in our opinion worth the extra money. Very well equipped and comfy.

The place is central chaweng, but is pretty quiet at night. Everywhere is very walkable.

Thoroughly recommended. Only thing missing is a swimming pool, but the lovely gardens and clean beachfront make up for it. Restaurant is very good value for lunches.

Room was nice clean and fresh a little noisy as we were close to the road so maybe ask for one closer to beach as its two seconds away. Staff were friendly and spoke English. Breakfast nice with your choice of eggs with cold cuts, juice, tea/ coffee and toast with a beach view.
My only slight grumble and it was only small was that their sun loungers didn't have any cushions on them but otherwise a lovely stay.
They were in the middle if some building work with some development being done at the beach end though.

We have been here six or more times, as a couple; with our daughters; & with friends.
The bungalows are clean and tidy, although not over large, but big enough for all your holiday needs - to shower, wash, change and sleep. Anyway, who spends all day in a room when there is a fabulous beach with golden sand leading to a gradual shelving beach on your doorstep?
Breakfast is taken on the verandah overlooking the beach, where you have a choice of food - Thai or European/USA freshly cooked for you.
The Owners, Management and Staff have always been, without exception, extremely helpful and friendly, being ready to assist in anyway they can. On the rare occasion when some item in the Bungalow needs attention, this has been dealt with quickly and efficiently.
No doubt there are better appointed places on the Island to stay, but none for such a reasonable cost.
Just outside King's you have plenty of shops of all kinds, a Pub and so many places with a wide variety of food to eat - you really are spoilt for choice.
Some may not agree, but for me this place is my idea of 'paradise'.

Room Tip: Treat yourself and book a 'beach garden' Bungalow, these have a good view of the sea through...

The hotel is very closet to sea,the prices are about 1200thb per night, the rooms are very comfortable, the bathroom is quite good but need more better, the breakfast is very poor.
The location is very good, have too many shops for food, bars but doesnt have noise expect the rooms near to chaweng beach road, there have noise the night from the bars.It is better you wont book from internet,to reception could have better price.
