“Peaceful!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2014

A lovely resort. All the bungalows are surrounded by beautiful gardens. We stayed in the superior bungalow which is the most basic one, but it felt luxurious and very comfortable. It's a short walk to Fisherman's Village. We also walked the other way along the beach and found some great beach cafes and restaurants which were quieter than The Village. The resort isn't far from the famous Woo Lounge/Bar either. The staff were generally lovely and welcoming, especially in the bar and restaurant. A good breakfast and huge swimming pool which was never crowded. We always found a sun lounger at any time of day, so no racing down to the pool with your towel first thing!! I wouldn't stay here if I was looking for lots of night life, but perfect for families, a bit of peace and romance.

Really is a peace resort, as soon as you drive in from the road it is so quiet, pretty resort, nice pool and beach, Lots of little family businesses cooking lunch dishes every day really cheap. Breakfast plentiful and varied, bungalows very nice and traditional and really quiet. Staff lovely and friendly, spa treatments and massage really good value. Sort walks into town, plenty of choice of restaurants and markets and shops.

I visited here in August but in 2012. It was a wonderful stay with a choice of using the pool or the beach. You can have a massage on site, there is a bar by the beach and all staff were polite, warm and very helpful. They will try their utmost best to solve any problems that might occur. For example: one evening only cold water was coming out of the shower so while they fixed it they allowed me to shower in another room.

The breakfast is great here with a wide range to choose from, you can hire a moped from the hotel reception and each room is a bungalow. At night you simply walk along the beach to reach the bars, restaurants and market.

My boyfriend and I have just returned from our 3 week holiday in Thailand and we spent the last 6 nights at the Peace Resort. It is a lovely hotel and very, very peaceful. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
The beach is very clean and there were more than enough sun beds to go around. We ate at the restaurant too and had really good food, including one meal where we had a buffet on the beach. Breakfast came included in the room and it was great, lots of lovely fresh food to choose from.
The rooms are very quiet, we had a basic bungalow but it was just what you needed as we didn't spend much time in our rooms at all. The room was well maintained and cleaned every day.
The location of the hotel is great as you have just a 10 minute stroll along the beach to all the bars and restaurants of Bo Phut. I would definitely stay here again.

Where do I start? I have been many holidays in my time and I can honestly say the Peace Resort is Fantastic. From the minute we checked in at reception the staff were polite and friendly. We stayed here for 14 nights and I can't recommend a better place to stay. The entire resort staff work extremely hard to cater for all your needs. We found the room a bit on the small side but don't let this put you off. Very clean. Lovely pool and fantastic beach and always plenty of beds at the pool and beach. The main restaurant is always clean and the staff are fantastic a big shout out to Bell who was lovely and always smiling. The bar staff Big, joke & Pete are a credit to the resort they work so hard making sure everyone has a drink at all times and again are always happy to see you and look after you at the pool side. We ate many times at the restaurant and the food is always of high quality. Slightly more expensive than eating out but very enjoyable. All I can say is thank you for the experience of a great holiday and I will be back and would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. 10 minute walk and you have all the restaurants and bars you would want. Thanks again see you next year.

Nice arrival with a welcome drink but when shown room it wasn't a bungalow which I though I had booked, asked it I could upgrade but they said they had no spare room in the whole resort.. Anyway, bed very comfy once a mattress topper was on, bathroom was average more like a hostel shower.. Beach isn't great to swim in but pleasant enough, pool is nice but too many kids around- in saying that it's a great resort for families (I'm 25 travelled with partner) breakfast was fantastic a great variety. If you stay here make sure when you walk out of the resort you try the reaturant directly to the right on the same side... Yum! And cheap! Majority of the staff at peace were lovely however felt like they were nicer to specific people/groups and not everyone.. Anyway I would stay here again however I would make sure I didn't have a basic room. 10 min walk from fishermans village- when you go there make sure you go to the hut for dinner or lunch cheap and yum.

Just returned from a lovely stay at the Peace Resort. As soon as we arrived we knew we had made a good choice with booking here. Bophut is a great location and not too far from chewang should you want a fun night out, but also far enough away so that it remains a quiet and tranquil resort. It is also very close to fisherman's village which is best accessed by a short stroll along the beach. Here you will find an array of bars and restaurants as well as shops and market stalls. The only small and very minor grumbles would be that the shower in the basic bungalow that we stayed in, was not great and the rooms are quite small. I would probably recommend an upgrade if you can. Yes the sand was a bit rough on the feet but this didn't cause any problems. The water is also not that clear but there are great places to visit where you do some great snorkelling, namely Koh Tao. I would strongly recommend taking a boat trip or two. They are fantastic and our guide Joe treated is exceptionally well. Lastly, the restaurant is very good but a little expensive. We regret that we didn't spend more time venturing into fisherman's village. Overall, an excellent resort and I would recommend it to anyone.

Situated on Bophut beach in the northeast of the island, the Peace Resort is a newly refurbished, friendly bungalow style resort, ideal for a relaxing family getaway.
