We rented scooters from here. The cost is 100 baht more than other local providers. So we paid the 300 for convenience and assumed bikes would well maintained. They aren't. One of the bikes we were given had a flat battery so the auto start didn't work. This meant the bike had to be lifted on to the centre stand and kick started. My wife was not able to lift the bike onto the said stand. The rear tyre on the bike was very old and perished but they were not interested in this point. Anyway I got less than one mile down the road and the tyre had split. On returning to the hotel the said it was my responsibility. So 900 baht later with a new tyre and inner tube I carried on. My point is that the bikes should be rented out in a fit condition. The tyre on this scooter was dangerous and not fit for purpose. It should have been changed by the hotel before it was rented out. Not a disaster but just be sure your are happy that the scooter is safe before you rent as they are not maintained well.
