“Nice stay here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

Booked for 2 but stayed for 4 nights, had a great time on the beach which is across the main road in front of hotel. Taxi trip to nightlife and bars about 300 baht but only did this once.
Hotel was very clean and staff always helpful and polite. Pool did look a little " creamy" at times but very refreshing whilst sunbathing.
Wifi worked all over hotel with good signal.
Room large enough, had safe, wardrobes and tea/coffee making, very big, comfortable bed.
Bathroom ok, hot shower and good pressure.
Breakfast has good choice of food and drinks.
Lift to all floors if needed.
If you go to beach, turn right, about 500 metres are two nice eating places on the beach, my favourite was the secret garden.
Taxi to/from ferry pier was 500 baht each way, think 300 baht to airport.
Would stay here again because away from any noise/ nightclub music.

Room Tip: Higher the room, the better view of sea.

Went with my wife for dual purpose of celebrating her birthday and valentines' day in Samui. Had a great time. Here's my 2 cents :

Location : I specifically chose this hotel because it's located away from Lamai, Chaweng etc areas which are way too touristy for us. It's away from the noise and still close to everything. 5 minutes by Bike to Fisherman village, 15 mins to Maenam beach(which is gorgeous). There are many restaurants, bars, massage parlors, diving shops, beach bars close by.

Hospitality : Hotel seems a bit under-staffed but that doesn't mean you don't get prompt service. All the guys work their back-sides off to ensure that you enjoy every moment of your stay. My wife's vegetarian, so they cooked vegetarian dishes specifically for her for breakfast even though we never asked them to do that(my wife was happy with bread and butter). Great staff, I must say. Always smiling, always trying to do that extra bit. Full marks for them.

Breakfast : Breads, fruits, juice, milk, corn flakes, yogurts, eggs(whichever way you like them), chicken, pork, fried rice, some times shrimp and I don't know what else.... It was awesome.

Room : Rooms are spacious and there's some lounging area outside the rooms as well. Matress could be a little better, otherwise it's great.

Value for money : Breakfast, A/C, refrigerator, bath tub, tea/coffee, sofa, swimming pool, sliding door that opens directly to pool area, personal lounge/balcony for every room.... What else can one want for such a price... Great value for money...

All in all full marks from me... Perfect place for couples looking for some cozy moments...

Stayed here for the full moon party (hotel is opposite a speed boat port and near the big Buddha pier). Our room was very big, spacious and clean. Pool was ok. There was nothing to do in the area, seemed to be in the middle of no where so I was glad I only stayed here for one night for the full moon. Found the population of this area to be full of English men with Thai girls. Had a power cut in samui which lasted over two hours and the staff dealt with this quite well. It's a shame the hotel is where it is as I would stay here again if it wasn't for the location.

My husband and I checked in here due to the great price and view of the ocean however were quickly turned off by the sheer volume of old, and I mean really old men with young thai girls coming in and out of their rooms at all hours and lounging around the pool area. Needless to say we did not stay long at this establishment. Too bad as the hotel itself is quiet clean with a nice pool however I could not under good conscience stay at a place with such blatant prostitution.

The hotel is fairly basic, reasonably clean and the staff were friendly.

The location is perfect if you are going to the FMP/Koh Phengan as it is opposite 1 of the speedboat pick up/drop off points and is only 30 minutes on the speed boat.

If you are not going to the FMP then the hotel is a little far out of BoPhut but taxibuses are so cheap that it isnt really an issue
