“The #1 Reason to go to Samui”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

I created a Trip Advisor Account just so I could review this place, that should sum it up right there! The food is amazing, Chef Vivien is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. His warm heart and genuine care for his customers comes through in his food. Dined several times while staying in Samui, will return to Samui for Cafe 69 if nothing else.

“Perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

We went to cafe 69 on the last day of our honeymoon and our only disappointment was that we weren't able to go back again! Vivienne, the owner, was such a brilliant host and his food was absolutely delicious. I had Pad Thai and my husband had the soft shell crab, both of which were faultless. To top it off, Vivienne gave us a lift back to our hotel because we'd arrived at a quiet time and he was aware we had a flight to catch. Unbelievable kindness which we won't forget. If you're on Koh Samui, don't miss this little gem on Bohphut!

“Cafe 69 is the best restaurant in Koh Samui!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

First time, I've been Samui for honeymoon, also, first time I've been to Cafe69. Not only the foods were fabulous but also the owner of Cafe69; Chef Vivian. He's such a friendly and amazing person. He gave us a warm welcome and took a wonderful care of customers. By the way, Chicken Dumpling and papaya salad were very good appetizers. We had Jumbo Tiger Prawns with red curry and Slow Cooked Chicken Leg with basil sauce for main courses. They were so delicious!!!! we must go back there again for sure. Chef Vivian has made our day!!

Staff is really friendly and would do anything for you! Food was also very nice. We had dumplings for starters and red curry for main. Overall not disappointed.
